I have had several of this type of greenhouse and so far I like this one the best. Assembly was very straightforward and not difficult. I love that it has doors on both ends of the greenhouse. Both of these doors have screens that can be open to allow cross ventilation. Several small windows on both sides of the greenhouse also facilitate air movement through the greenhouse and helps keep it cool. There are good quality clips provided so the doors can be rolled up and held in place. The quality of the plastic cover is also very good. I have had the greenhouse for two years. I purchased this greenhouse 2 years ago. It has been the perfect solution for my small scale gardening needs and overwintering of plants. Assembly was a breeze even for a senior like me. I only needed help to put on the cover. I am giving sturdiness 5 stars but admit, I didn't think that 2 diagonal poles were enough so I added extra support between the remaining lower poles (see red dots, picture one). Also I was fortunate to place it toward the SE and along a wood fence for extra wind protection. If that could be your set up, this is a great choice for you. King Bird has held up for some nasty straight line winds over the past 2 years here in NC. The first winter, I painfully customized an extra layer to the cover with thick construction PVC polyethylene, zippers and all. More than usual cold was expected this past winter and I decided to buy an extra cover to place on top and boy did it pay off. My little house remained toasty in the evenings with a small heat source all winter long. As spring approached, it was time to remove the extra layers. I found that one of the zippers had corroded and contacted the seller. Lynn helped me thru the process of buying an extra cover and this year helped me obtain a replacement under my warranty. She was wonderful and moved the process along efficiently. I began by going thru the King Bird website instead of Amazon because I couldn't figure out how to contact any other way. I had questions about that when I received an email to pay shipping thru the King Bird PayPal account due to all the scammers/AI and bad people posing as others. I didn't really know how to do that anyway, so I searched again and found the link to contact the seller thru Amazon and explained my concerns.     • The price seemed a no brainer, the quality reflected the price.

The item recommends having more than one person. Do not use friends, they will not be your friend afterwards. The instructions are inadequate, three pictures and poorly illustrated. The metal piping and connectors are thin, as in I can bend the pipe with some effort between my fingers. There are parts included not mentioned in the instructions, nor is there a clear system of what screw length is to be used. The allen wrench and thinly stamped wrench are to small to be effective, I used a drill with star bit head and a ratchet with an extended 10mm socket. I would not buy this for an enemy. ... show more

    • Good Value Made Better with Proper Planning
This greenhouse is a great starter greenhouse. The instructions are wonky but if you really look at it you will have it figured out rather quickly. I have no idea why but they had a page that had numbers that don't actually correspond to any actual pieces. I'm not sure if that was a misprint or what. But if you see 7,8 there they are actually 2 & 3 I believe from memory. Looking at the diagram long enough you figure it out. They do need to fix that. Most of the reviews on Amazon for greenhouses like this are going to talk about wind. Absolutely wind is your enemy here but there are ways of mitigating that risk. The best solution is to buy some 12-inch rebar stakes to go in the ground to hold the greenhouse down. Yes, this greenhouse comes with its own stakes but they aren't going to hold it. My greenhouse has stood some 20+ miles per hour wind with the rebar stakes. They are a must if you have wind. Everything else is constructed fairly well. If you opt to use the rebar and I suggest you do then you should also get something to hold the plastic down from the outside. I used larger rocks. I set my built greenhouse down in the area I wanted it. I placed the rebar on the inside and because I did this there was the plastic cover that I positioned to be on the outside of the greenhouse. I elected to hold that down with larger rocks. You will need several. Other things that I could see working would be bricks, cinder blocks, cement blocks, etc. This is honestly a great value for the money you just have to add a few extras to make it something exceptional. I did a lot of research before I made this purchase. The poles are strong and the covering is strong as well. But again, the wind is your enemy and you need to have a plan to resolve that issue if you are going to make this greenhouse last longer than a day. I've had it up for about two months now and it's been great. It keeps my plants really warm during the day and I'm able to keep them in there during the night now because the temps have started to be warm enough. This is something else you might want to think about the greenhouse is going to be really warm when the sun is out but at night it will only be about 2 or so degrees warmer than the outside. You can also improve this if you get certain heating functions in the greenhouse or even old-fashioned C9 Christmas lights (they can't be LED as you need them to give off heat). If they give off heat that means there's room for danger so take precautions. Be careful. Be mindful. Do your own due diligence and this greenhouse will work wonders for you. ... show more
