I haven’t wore them all day at work but I tried them on. The reason some ppl believe the shoe fit runs smaller is because of the cushion surrounding the inside is more than the usual. Of course, it also depends if the person’s feet are wider or thinner .The shoe has raised cushion points inside the bottom of the shoe and it’s comfortable for the flatter foot individuals. The style is unique and nicer than some other shoes. It’s hard to say whether they are waterproof because fabric is on top but they do have a raised soul so it may help with walking through puddles of water. I bought these shoes for my daughter, who works as a cake decorator, because her old work shoes were hurting her feet. She normally wears a women’s size 9, but based on other reviews I ordered a size 10 — and I’m very glad I did. She told me the size 10 was still a little snug at first, especially around the ankles. They “hugged her ankles a bit,” as she put it, but not in a bad way. She didn’t feel like she needed to go up another half size, but she was definitely relieved I sized up. After wearing them, she said they feel comfortable, supportive, and she expects them to break in even more over time. She works 8–10 hour shifts, and these shoes have kept her feet from hurting, which is a huge improvement from her last pair. The non‑slip feature is where these shoes really shine. She works around frosting all day, and the bottoms of her shoes are usually covered in it. She even joked that her coworker basically created a “frosting slip‑and‑slide” on the floor — and while everyone else was tip‑toeing around it, she didn’t slip at all. That alone proves the traction is legit. They do get messy (cake decorating life), but performance‑wise they’re excellent. Amazing so far! I just started wearing them today but they are super comfortable, great support and cushioning which with having bone spurs and a high arches is a blessing. When I first saw them out of the box I was worried about the slip resistance since the floors in the kitchen I work in our particularly slippery and I've had issues with even name brand shoes but they they grip the floor like it's nothing! The only thing is they do run a big small, I usually wear a 9 1/2 but went up to a 10 they fit perfectly but just barely. Next pair I will get another half size up so if you wear a 7 I'd get an 8 ( I specify this as this seemed to be a concern for many people but they didn't specify how small they ran) . Not waterproof and very uncomfortable. The insole is made so it’s supposed to contour to every toe, and your arch. Unfortunately, it ends up feeling like there’s lumps in the shoes.
