I ordered this case wondering if it was stupid to pay more for the look of it. While waiting for delivery I read reviews stating that it was hard to hold or sharp on the fingers around the edges and I worried that I'd immediately be returning my impulsive mistake. I have since received it and I'm not giving it back. It is light. It is functional. I find it very comfortable to the touch. I can almost see where someone might say that the edges feel sharp but really, no, there is no issue. I had purchased a hand strap too but there is no need. This case is very nice to hold. In honesty what it is is a well fitting, well functioning (protects kindle and auto wakes when opened) case that looks amazing. I got the dark cork and it looks even better in person. It looks to me like a wooden case and, maybe its silly, but I think that it looks so cool and yet not flashy that it is 100% worth it. I'd buy it again.

Contrary to amazon's green recommendation box "Compatible with your 'All new Amazon Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition 32 GB ...'." right next to the buy button, this cover does NOT fit the 2024 Paperwhite 12th Gen, so I had to return it. However, I would have loved to have kept it. The cork is both beautiful and pleasantly soft and comfortable to hold. The laser etched Kindle logo is crisp and unobtrusive. It is light and slim. I guess I will have to wait impatiently for Amazon to release this style in the correct size for the new Paperwhite. 🤞 In the meantime, Amazon badly needs to clean up their search and compatibility recommendation system for Kindle covers - what a mess!

I got this to pair with my new paper white 11th gen which I love so far bigger screen is great and improved backlight features are nice to have. The cork cover actually has surprised me as some say they don’t like the feel of it but in my experience it does indeed feel like cork as I’d expect it too. It has a nice look to it and is decently grippy and the dark color is especially unique giving it a rustic but sharp look, it doesn’t add too much weight or heft and opens and closes to wake/sleep the kindle reliably. I haven’t had any issues with staining and the inside cover is lined with a sort of micro fiber to protect the screen, otherwise front to back of the case is indeed made from cork as it has a similar albeit not exactly the same texture to a wine bottle cork for example, but this is likely due to the fact the case is a bit strengthened or slightly coated so it doesn’t wear out too quick but it feels as I’d expect. I would definitely recommend this case if your a fan of cork made products and it will look great in either color offering convenience and protection while being a refreshing change from leather or other alternatives.

I’m not usually a huge folio style case person but this coke case has really grown on me. The cork gives a great texture when I hold it and it doesn’t get slippery even if I’m sweaty. I am a bit picky however and for the price I feel like it could’ve been a more premium base material like aluminum instead of the black plastic. It still feels premium but I would’ve payed even another $15 for the touch of cold metal. Furthermore I also think they could’ve put another magnet on the other side of the front flap of the case so when it’s flipped back it sticks down more satisfyingly (see photo 3) but that is just my opinion of course. Overall a great case that I enjoy wholeheartedly; it seriously brings up the class of the kindle to leatherback book status.

I’ve used it a few months now and it’s a good case. Light feeling and nice alternative to leather (I have enough leather things). The cork is a thin laminate on top of plastic but is sturdier than it sounds. Kinda wish I’d gotten the lighter shade of cork, but I picked the dark version as a used Amazon warehouse deal to save money. These things are overpriced so check for any used deals first, likely it’s in good shape, as mine looked like new.

Prior to purchasing new items on Amazon I spend a lot of time reading the reviews. There seemed to be a lot of reviews talking about sharp edges on the case as well as a high cost. I couldn't disagree more. The cork is very classy looking, feels smooth and luxurious and is very lightweight. It fits my Kindle perfectly and securely. This is a quality cover that is very well priced. I do not regret this purchase. I absolutely love this cover!
