If you’re lucky enough to still have the Kindle Oasis, this is the best case for it. I’ve tried a couple and this is the only one that has a cover that loosely folds back and lightly connects to the backside so that it’s not flopping around. So far it’s been very durable, protects great, great color and feel.

Excellent device. Great screen - can read in sunlight or no-light !!! The backlight works great. I really enjoy using this. Page turning is very convenient & is the Kindle super light & is easy to hold/turn pages. You can enlarge/shrink the text to your liking. I recommend getting the leather cover - it automatically saves your page & turns off when you close it (and protects from scratches), then opens back up to that same page. The ads are no bother at all, only on the initial "swipe open" page. Battery lasts quite long. Only negative - doesn't use the USB-C charging cable, so have to be sure to only use the "mini USB" cable (I think that's what they call it) - a pain since all my other phones/laptops use USB-C. But all-in-all, I highly recommend it.

The Merlot Oasis Case is great. My girlfriend commented how much she liked it this weekend then she asked me to order a cover for her new phone that she got today that is Burgundy. The Merlot Oasis Case is not very bright but sort of distinguished and subdued sort of an old law book or something. The magnetic closure turns the Oasis on and off by opening and closing the cover. The cover fits well and is snug. The magnetic closure hold the case closed when stored and open when reading. The case does add some weight, but it is protects the thing and turns it off and on. I'm not afraid of putting my covered Oasis in my backpack whereas if I didn't have the case I'd be concerned and want a special pocket to protect it. I like the color because the interior of my truck is black, so if it falls off the seat then I can see it relatively easy. I think it is worth it because I can open and read fairly fast and close the cover and walk away and it's off and protected somewhat. Hope this helps someone....

The cover is light and sturdy but expensive, quite expensive bought it in a sale but still feel like i paid more than i should have Cant complain about the quality tho its been 3 months and the cover is still as good as new and ive used it a lot

Weird smell, not good leather smell but the color is so much less bright than depicted online which is what I love! They were out of other colors so I decided to give it a shot. Looks more durable than the fabric one I originally got which has started to fray.

I was a bit hesitant about buying this official case for Kindle Oasis due to its price and reviews online. I have multiple kindle oasis, from Casebot, Ayotu, Moko and Noreve (France) and I must say i was really surprised when I opened the box. Although the case has hard plastic on the sides (unlike Casebot Cases with rubbery materials) the leather is really nice and smells like authentic leather. The case is also surprisingly thin and light making the one hand reading still comfortable with a case unlike other brands i mentioned above. The case also sticks when folded for added comfort due to its small metal at the back that attracts the magnets when folded. The case is thin but the leather is real and feels nice to hold. I don’t know why they are saying the leather feels cheap but it doesn’t feel cheap at all. And I also have the Noreve case to compare. If you want a well built case but doesn’t add bulk, this is probably the one. I thought casebot is thin enough until i bought this case and I am happy with my purchase.
