keep this in mind when you read the reveiw: i dont do hardware. at all. i had a friend help me pick out and install it over discord. now then: it was easy (but scary for me) to get it installed and it just worked. everyhting seems to run a lot smoother now. up from 16 to 24 gigs of ram. sure it is a bit hotter when running as its single stick so i bet its gonna run hotter than normal (expecally since its 16 gigs in such a small stick). plus its stupidly hot where i live rn so even with a window fan a cooling pad under my labtop and my other fan my room is sitll burning hot. so i am just going to assume the heat is just due to my current weather. its been working fine so far and everyhting seems to be smoother. so far i would reccommend this. i will update with an edit in a week if anything went wrong or if its been doing great like it is now.

Easy to install depends on the computer not the memory. My son's laptop had 4gb and only one slot. He had been complaining about his computer and gaming on it. He has and i5 with a 256gb ssd drive. I put this ram in it and he walked out of the room sort of disappoint, because he wanted a new laptop. About 10 mins later he comes back to me with a giant smile on his face and said Daddy!, my computer is sooooo much faster! That was Christmas 2021. I haven't heard a complaint since. I'm still going to upgrade his hd to a 512 nvram.
