Amazing product.I already have the half inch impact for log.Nuts, but this is great.It feels solid, it worked good has great power. And it has two batteries! This is a great cordless ratchet. I have a friend who has the Milwaukee and this one is just as good. This is the second one I have bought, because a different friend was pulling on a stuck part under his car when it was up on my lift and this ratchet was sitting on the lift arm. The stuck part came loose suddenly and his elbow struck this ratchet and FLUNG it across the shop. It may have hit the concrete awkwardly but the plastic under the head of the tool broke off, and the little metal part that causes it to ratchet, snapped and popped out, rendering the tool inoperative. Would the Milwaukee have taken that trip across the shop without breaking??? Maybe. Am I going to spend $250 for the Milwaukee because of the possibility that a violent trip across the shop may do harm to the Kimo? No. I'm just gonna buy a new one. But, since I do think the Milwaukee would have survived the trip, I did ding it one-star. I have bought one of these, smashed it then bought another one, and I can almost buy a third one before i will have spent what the Milwaukee costs. On the upside, I now have four batteries and a spare charger for my Kimo ratchet.

Item showed up and had minor damage from shipping. I reached out to customer service instead of returning. There was a post card size paper in the box that had there info. They responded that my email within a day and told they would send a replacement for the damaged part. Not too many companies these days with good customer service, so very happy with communication and the fast time it took for them to fix it. The tool itself looks and feels quality. Has a glass reinforced plastic feel similar to other high end tools. The its quality is similar to dewalt or Makita. This tool isn’t an impact, but has plenty for torque for its intended purpose. I would say tha most fasteners tha are 10mm or smaller are about the diameter this tool would break loose without help. Maybe some m12 or m14 for furniture or lawnmower…stuff like that. Great for reaching in and loosing radiator clamps, exhaust clamps, or taking apart appliances. I think this tool is very good…cheap or not. But the price is why I bought it. I have many Dewalt tools, and some 12v older Bosch. Didn’t want to spend a ton on a tool that doesn’t need 500 ftlbs of break force. I’d say it’s the best bang for buck, best in class for what you get. The only negative I find it that I can’t use my other tool’s batteries with it. But hey, now I have extra batteries and they can stay with the tool. It perfect to carry in a car over to friends or family to help with small projects. Btw the case is very good. Nice thick plastic and the tool and battery’s fit similar to other big brand boxes. I told Kimo I would wite a review because of how fast they helped me and because I truly think the tool is good. Hope this helps someone.

I am normally skeptical of off brand tools but I am glad I gave this a chance, and have used it more than I thought I would. It’s not super powerful, so you may have to brake stubborn nuts loose by hand, but it’s got enough torque to handle basic jobs. It’s relatively compact which means you can get it into more places than the larger units with the big rectangular batteries, and it’s not too heavy. The included case, socket set, spare battery and charger make this a great value.
