My toddler has been playing with this item rather roughly and it has lived up to its claims. It has been stomped on, sat on, and dropped (with and without the legs) but still shows no signs of wear and tear. Of course, it is not indestructible, so still care for the item appropriately. The multi-color magnetic sketchings are visible but the yellow is the least so. I imagine that that's because it's yellow. The legs are easy to remove and then reinstall making its use versatile and storage/travel easier when needed or desired. Just make sure you pay attention to the angle of the legs when twisting them back on to ensure the threads line up correctly. The edges are rounded, so we haven't had any injuries while using this product. As long as the child can sit up and hold the attached pen, it's suitable for younger children. It is mostly plastic, so it's lightweight but surprisingly durable.

The media could not be loaded. Good for the price for a beginner. Not all black lines, it’s got different colors under the surface I noticed. The lines start to disappear after a minute which is fine because my daughter is only 15 months old. This is good for a beginner. No batteries needed. Will be great in the car. So choking hazards, the feet come off, so that’s a plus. The pen is attached with a sturdy string and has a holder for it, handle on back for ease if you want to hold onto it or attach it to something easily.
