Let’s be real. This monitor will work like almost every other monitor you find. It works well between multiple floors, still works well outside, and there’s not many places around the house that you can go where you cannot find the signal. Eco-mode is great and alerts you when needed when the baby starts to cry. The only complaint is the light flashes somewhat bright at night to let you know that the monitor is on, since in eco-mode the monitor will mostly be silent with the screen off. While that never bothered me, my wife is sensitive to any and every moving, blinking, or noise making thing at night. A little bit of electrical tape over the light, and you’re good to go. But what you really want to know is how durable this thing is, because you know that you’re going to drop it. You’re going to put it under something and it’ll be crushed. You’re probably going to spill something on it. Or, maybe after you have had it for nine months, it is accidentally left on the bumper of your car. Then you drive off with the monitor, eventually slinging it into the street on a turn about half a mile from your home. It’s not until you come home from dinner that you realize you can’t find the monitor. It has to be somewhere, because there’s no way anyone left it on the bumper of the car, right? But then the next morning you decide to drive around a little bit and see if it just might be in the road. And then you find it! Sitting in the wet grass, having been there overnight, and not turning on. With fingers crossed, you get home and plug it in and hit the power button. And shockingly, it turns on! Now, the downside is you will never be able to “see” your baby in their room. But you can still hear them! And it still turns on when there’s any noise! So, in my book, that’s a winner winner, chicken dinner. Still works great. Have no intentions to replace it with a new one. Would probably use it again for another baby. Highly recommend. I needed the kidsneed baby/parent monitor as a safety aid to check on my husband who is a 79 yrs. old Alzheimer's patient. I am recovering from a broken right femur and I am in the living room unable to move. When the parent monitor became faulty, I contacted Gloria at kidsneed asking for help. Gloria and kidsneed have been so wonderful to replace the monitor so I have been able to again check on my husband. Love that there’s no wifi so not hackable. Easy to install and use, and controls are intuitive. The battery in the monitor unit degraded pretty quickly so most of the time it has to be plugged in now, but I don’t mind. The camera started getting stuck and sometimes wouldn’t rotate, but the customer service for their 12 month warranty was excellent and I got it replaced. ... show more

This is great for the price, my only complaint is that it doesn’t pan out far enough to get a wide angle of the room, no matter how far up you put it. It doesn’t go very far down just left and right so you have to have it at just the right spot but once you find that it’s pretty nice.

Amazing Monitor. I love that we can rotate the camera as we need without having to reposition the whole thing directly from the screen. Customer service is amazing too. Our monitor stopped working and within 2 days I had a replacement. Great product!!
