This bed was so easy to put together. Do yourself a favor and buy a handled or ratcheting 4mm hex wrench... I did...due to the sheer number of hex head wood screws. All parts and hardware were labeled well. Instructions were clear. It took this 70 year old handy grandma about two hours to build solo. I did need a 6ft ladder to put the roof panels on. Both of the upper cross beams head and foot, split a little when attaching...the screws for this step should have been smaller and possibly shorter. Will add a bit of wood glue. This was mentioned in a couple of other reviews but the reviewer did not identify which pieces split. The bed comes with only 8 slats so i have ordered a kit of 13 slats from another vendor 8 is definitely not sufficient by recommended standards. I ordered an 8 inch hybrid mattress ...I felt anything taller would negate the usefulness of the rails. The manufacturer should include more slats...that was a 49.00 additional cost for me to confidently have my nearly 2 year old granddaughter sleep or play on the bed.

I will start with the positives, our daughters LOVE this bed. It is very solid and sturdy, but make sure you carve out a minimum of 2 hours to set up. It took my husband about 3 hours with two excited toddlers crawling all over the place. It is very large (we got the double twin bed with the beds side-by-side). Make sure you measure the space, as returns are costly…more on that later… We have had the bed for over 3 months, and it is in excellent condition. On to the negative…our frame comes with pull-out drawers on rollers. We put the entire bed together and saved the drawers for last, only to find out that we were missing three pieces. As a reminder, it took my husband three hours to build this bed. We contacted customer service and were told that in order to get the parts, we had to send the entire bed back. When he told him that he wasn’t going to do that, it was suggested to him that he purchase another bed, harvest the needed parts, and return that bedframe instead. I thought that sounded shady, but since that was the advice given, we went with it. (The following is my error… But I thought that when you had Prime, you got free shipping on all items… Don’t make that mistake! We paid $200 additional dollars for shipping on the new bed, after already having paid $200 for shipping in the first bed Again…my error…). We put the rolling drawers in, and I will say, that is the one janky part of the bed. They slide all over the place, so beware of that. Pinched fingers are bound to happen. When we went to return the bedframe, we printed the packaging label and took it to the return center only to find out that it was $400 shipping fee to return the bed! We contacted customer service again, and we received a letter that they had contacted us and told us that they would send us the parts. That never happened. So now we have a bed sitting in our garage that we are not going to be paying shipping on, and our daughters will currently be sleeping in their bed until they graduate and leave our house 😂🤦🏾♀️. So, in a nutshell, cute bed, built well, but if you purchase it, beware of shipping and return fees and if you decide to give it a go, make sure you account for all parts before assembling.

It is definitely a awesome bed! But the description was confusing I ordered a twin and when I got the bed it definitely measured at a full. So the twin mattress that I ordered doesn't fit! So I have to return that and I cant get it in the box bc it was vacuumed sealed. And I really don't want to take down the bed and return it for a twin because I wont be able to get the same bed and it was such a pain to do this bed because I did it by myself.

Product came without directions and missing a substantial amount of hardware. You have to email the seller and wait approximately 24hrs for a response. Hardware was OUT OF STOCK and they compensated me $50 after going back and forth with them for almost 2 weeks. Quality of the wood is also subpar. The pictures look nice but if u want to avoid issues, avoid buying this product.

It’s not to bad to assemble and very strong my husband could sleep on it if he wanted to. My child gets stuck on occasion between the squares on the side of the “door”. Price seemed pretty good but shipping is an addition 60 so be aware of that.
