Right out of the box my 10 year old daughter that it was cool. To go from taking pics/vids to see them big on the wall was a hit! What my daughter says about the camera... The media could not be loaded. Wow, I wasn’t expecting this camera to look like it does! I really didn’t think it was going to be this big! I’m not too sure if my grandson‘s little hands are going to be able to handle it yet, he’s going to be four. But I don’t think he’ll be able to handle it yet, I think this is too big for him. That being said, this would be absolutely perfect for a kid five years and older! As I was playing around with it, I fell in love with it myself! It comes with a nice tripod to keep the camera really still if you’re taking still shots, or if using it as a projector! And when you’re showing your projection on a screen or a wall, It will keep the camera steady. I love that you can screw the tripod into the bottom of the camera and use it as handle as well! This may even be better for younger kids with smaller hands, because this way they can get a nice grip on it with one hand and press the button to take a picture with the other! The camera and tripod are extremely well-made and durable! The quality of this camera and the durability of it is worth the price! The only thing is that it’s tough to find a case for it because as you can see in my photos, it’s really big, so the kids cases really won’t safely store or protect it. I showed the dimensions in my pictures with a tape measure, you could see how big it is on all sides. But I did find a case for it and it fit perfectly! You can find the case in my reviews. I like that it comes with a strap. But I just wish it was a thicker one, and either plain colored or a more stylish design, because I don’t really care for the design that’s on there, it really cheapens the camera, and the clips look a little flimsy, I show you them close up in my photos This is not a babyish camera at all! I would say it should be good for kids ages five and older. As you could see in my videos it works perfectly, and it’s very easy to use and to figure out. I am giving it a five star rating, because it deserves it! I don’t have five stars out lightly. There is no cons that I could find about this camera! I was pleasantly surprised and extremely happy to see that this isn’t some toy. Even though you can play games on it, it’s a legit camera and video projector! I’m just amazed by this camera. I got the red color as you can see, it’s a great neutral color. I also have to mention how great it focuses just by turning the lens in the front of the camera. And if you want the picture smaller, move forward you want it larger, just move back. I love the projection on this camera! I highly recommend this! But you’re definitely gonna need a large enough case to protect it. ... show more
