    • Pom pom threads fell out with a mild tug

When I first opened this I noticed that the pom pom was lying flat. It looked like someone had gathered a bunch of yarn together, tied a loop around it and called it good. I tugged at a few of the threads and they slipped out with little effort. There is no way something like this could handle going through the washing machine. The knit material of the beanie is a little denser than the knit material I'm used to for beanies. Which would be good for warmth, but it's not quite as stretchy. My 8 year old's head is just below the 50 percentile for his age and this thing doesn't even fit. It might fit for a baby or 1-2 year old. So this is more for a toddler. I only realized this because I was wrapping it for my son for Christmas and I thought it looked small.
