This is a super fun interactive advent calendar! It is great for kids of all ages and especially for those who enjoy playing with and/or building vehicles. Each day you will open a section of the box and find a totally different vehicle. The pieces are enclosed in a small plastic bag and the directions for building the vehicle are in the bag as well. When all 24 are built, your child will have an impressive assortment of firefighting vehicles ready for display or for imaginative play. If you are gifting it to a younger child, some adult assistance might be needed to help snap the pieces in place because they are small and rigid. If your child has built with small snap together bricks before, these won't be much different! This is a wonderful way to mark off the days until Christmas!

I can't give you any pictures yet because this is an advent calendar. What I can tell you is that our 5 year old grandson happened to see me open the package today & immediately knew it was for him. He told me "Nene, it needs to be December NOW!!" He's very excited about this calendar which is great since he's had at least 1 (often 2) every December holiday season since he was born. Based on the size of the box, I think these toys will be decently sized as well which is good since we have dogs & a new baby coming (his little brother comes in December!) so we need toys large enough to not look like food or chew toys. The calendar is actually in the shape of a carrying case & is about the size of a normal briefcase & as thick!

One of my grandsons has quite a few food allergies so can never get in on the fun of the food/candy advent calendars. But he absolutely loves to build, and now this year he'll finally have his own calendar and can get in on all of the fun. This calendar was just what I was looking for, for him. I know he'll be really excited to get to open and construct so many cute little vehicles as he counts down to Christmas with his brothers. This was a great find and the style of these blocks should also be able to be incorporated with his other sets of building blocks too, which is an added bonus. A win-win for all.

Since it isn't Christmas yet, we haven't officially opened the doors of the box, but we did open the box to see the individual sets. There appear to be 25-30 pieces in each, full size Lego compatible, and colorful. Very nice assortment of vehicles. These should be fairly easy for 4-7 year-olds to assemble. Good buy.

This advent calendar has a nice amount of daily bricks to use to make your construction or fire vehicle. My son is excited to start using this but we haven't yet. I did sneak it out of the box to get a photo. The bricks are a comparable size to Lego.

It is t Christmas yet, so I got this to use as a potty training reward system! My son loves tiny legos, so we do these sorts of calendars a lot. Every time he gets enough stickers on his chart, he can open another day on the calendar. They’re tiny and a little tricky, so I have to help with some parts. Super cute though!
