My family has been using this coffee maker for the last month and we're overall very happy with the machine. I originally purchased this particular model because of the smaller size so that it would fit between my oven and refrigerator. This is a no frills coffee maker and great if you simply want to brew a good cup of coffee without a ton of bells and whistles. The carafe seems to be better built than other machines at this price point. (My last coffee maker's carafe broke as I was taking it out of the box.) The touchscreen on this model is designed well and I like that it responds to a very delicate touch. The program feature wonderfully allows me to schedule my coffee to start automatically in the morning. The only con that I've noticed is that the "strength" button doesn't seem to have a huge impact.     • Great price, attractive design
Was blown away by inflationary prices on other familiar brand coffee makers do had to give a hard look at this one. PROS: 2-hr AUTOMATIC OFF feature was most important in purchase decision. HAS THAT but no beep alert that it's going off. Miss the alert but not deal breaker. Ten cup system takes up same space as my Mr. Coffee 12 cup but I rarely brew that much at a time. WIDER POUR SPOUT on carafe doesn't spill out as long as you don't tip carafe too much. V-SHAPED REUSABLE FILTER will likely save me money over time because brews stronger so can use less grounds. (I still prefer paper filters which make it easy to remove wet grounds, especially if you're adding them to your garden.). CONS: Water drip spout is attached to machine cover so you cannot prop open cover while brewing. This feature, along with a tightly fitting water cannister cover means that cavity always stays very wet increasing likelihood of mold growth. And w black plastic you can't easily spot if growth starts. (On Mr. Coffee I prop open top lid slightly with a chopstick so water receptacle and grounds basket have chance to air out in between cleanings).     • stays on warm longer than the former choice.
the last one i had to buy a reusable filter. so now i have two. i bought an off brand they try harder. krupp would turn off and the coffee would be cold this one stays on for two hours. its takes me a minute to have breakfast. i have a job to do while i am eating.

I like the simplistic design and ease of use. The buttons are simple and you don’t need to have 50 buttons on your coffee pot! I like the sleek simple design. I have had no problems with it. You don’t need a fancy brand to make coffee.

Our old thermal pot passed on. This one is brand new. But it made great coffee right out of the box. Simple to use. No bells and whistles. I can’t attest to how long it will last but it’s great so far.
