It's a plasticy-wrapped wire that makes the basket. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing. It straps fine enough to the bike, but since it's a slightly-skewed oval-ish shape, it doesn't fit flat against the rail. The bell is a joke. Don't buy this basket expecting to use it (or for long). It's a horrible piece of junk. The streamers are fine, no complaints on those. The stickers.... eh, I just gave those to my daughter to use on whatever she wanted, not the bike. They'll come off the bike and/or basket and then leave residue. For the price, I'd say yes, I'd recommend (just not the bell). ... show more

I liked the basket, stickers and bell. The tassels that came with it broke on the first bike ride though. It doesn't look like something easy to fix. But it shouldn't break so easily in the first place. 😕
