Pretty good. Not gourmet coffee by any means, but good enough for a mid-day pick-me-up. A lot of other brands I try tend to be too bitter. This coffee was not bitter at all. Perfect for a black cup of coffee.

Amazon is not letting me review any more varieties of Kicking Horse coffee, like they were all the same. *eyeroll* They keep redirecting me here, to my review of a different variety. So, let's do a roundup so far, in order of smoothness, flavor, and balance: 1) Grizzly Claw (dark roast for people who don't drink dark roast). 2) Smart Ass 3) Three Sisters 4) Hola 5) Kickass Cannot recommend, sadly: (un)Happy Camper I thought the Three Sisters blend was good, but Smart Ass is our new favorite. So rich and smooth. I used a stainless steel French Press and purified water, for the best way to unlock the flavor. Very fortunate to get this on sale, because we are going to blow through this quickly!
