    • Good and inexpensive for pourover coffee
For the money, this is great. It measures to 1/10th of a gram and has a timer. The features are perfect for making pourover coffee where +/- a tenth of a gram or two in accuracy is not an issue. Used it for 6 months so far and made hundreds of cups of coffee. I've spilled small amounts of boiling water on it and it continues to function no problem. The product engineers probably anticipated this and added water resistant coverings. I love that it runs on 3x AAA batteries so I can use rechargeable. Downsides: It's a touch interface that doesn't give tactile feedback, but that's probably part of why this is water proof since buttons have gaps where water can intrude. The rubber mat slides around too easily on the scale's top. They should just add a second lip on the other side so it stays put. Minor inconvenience. ... show more

Feels kind of cheap at first but it is light and accurate and the perfect size for our Barista Express. Sometimes the buttons take an extra push to make work but not the end of the world. Has every quality I was looking for otherwise for an espresso scale.

    • Stopwatch, not a timer
As the title indicates, this scale has a stopwatch, not a timer. Meaning that it counts up from 0 instead of counting down from a preset time so be aware if you intent to use this to time something. Otherwise scale is good

Everything I was looking for in a kitchen scale, but had not found until this one. Easy on and easy off - no guessing about turning off and running down the battery. Accurate; can choose measurement scale - just excellent! Love mine!

I’ve been using this scale for approx a month. I don’t baby it in any way, kinda rough with it when I swish the coffee in the bloom process of a pour over. So far, it does exactly what a scale should do. I’ve never tested the accuracy because that would require a second scale. I don’t use the timer function. At this point I’m very happy with it. It’s my first coffee scale, so I’m no expert. Far better than the larger kitchen scale I was using prior. It’s really nice to use. I do two pour overs per morning. With my Ode burr grinder, Bonavita Gooseneck Kettle, Hario V60, and this Kitchen Tour scale, I’m making quick, easy, tasty pour overs ... show more

Got this scale to more accurately measure ground espresso beans in each portafilter fill up. Works great and is inexpensive. Accurate to 1/10 of a gram (+/- 1/10 of a gram in my experience) Worth the purchase if you make espresso every morning.

    • Easy to use, easy to read. Best coffee scale for the money.
This is a great scale, especially for the low price. Some more expensive scales might be slightly more accurate, but this is more than accurate enough for pour over coffee. Some other scales might read out more quickly making an exact pour easier but this is quick enough and you get the hang of it quickly. The scale is compact (although not for espresso) and lightweight. Ergonomically it works well; the readout is large and easy to see in any light and the buttons are laid out well. My only nit, it doesn't take well to a big spill. It ultimately survived but only came back to life a few days later and after I had already purchased a replacement scale.
