I'm absolutely FLABBERGASTED!!!! My truck is 23 years old and I've had it with one working (dumb) metal key for approx 6 years. That's how I bought it...one plain ole metal key. Due to its age I didn't even know if this had a key fob at one point, but then I was thinking, it's got electric locks so let's look it up and see. Through the research I've found this product and other options so it was reasonable to assume that my truck had the remote option at one point in it's life. I ordered it FULLY PLANNING ON RETURNING IT because I didn't think it was going to work with my 23 year old truck that has more issues than a psyc ward under investigating by the state. I watched a YT video explaining how to turn the key twice really fast while holding the door's unlock button down to enter into programming mode and then holding both buttons on the remote for it to learn itself to the truck. Well, like I said my truck has ISSUES, I did the procedure and didn't hear the chimes I was supposed to, it didn't cycle the locks in my truck to let me know i was in programming mode ....it didn't do ANYTHING. So I started over and made sure I did the procedure perfectly.... again heard and saw nothing from the truck.... so at this point I'm feeling confirmed that I will be returning this because my truck is dumb and uncooperative, but instead I decided to just hold the 2 buttons on the remote down after my 2nd key cycle "put the truck into programming mode" attempt..... seems like I sat there holding buttons like a moron for over 30 seconds and I was just about to let go and get out the truck and give up and BOOM! MY LOCKS CYCLED WHILE I WAS HOLDING BOTH!!! I was AMAZED!!! I let go, cycled the key and locks with the door controls and then tested the remote with the key in and and the key out and THIS REMOTE WORKS PERFECT TO LOCK and UNLOCK MY TRUCK! The best part is that a DOUBLE TAP on the unlock.... unlocks ALL the doors! I'm a contractor and I can't tell you how many times I go to try and get in the backseat or passenger side and I pull on a locked door handle, , get annoyed and have to take out my Keys to unlock it (passenger) or open the driver door to hit the dang switch. IT'S THE MOST AGGRAVATING THING IN THE WORLD when your trying to get work done and every time you turn around you go to open a door and all you get is a floppy handle and a locked door. It's SO NICE running into those locked doors now and just double tapping my remote that's hanging on my carabiner key chain!!! 1,000,000,000,000% WORTH THE MONEY just to save that locked door irritation I've dealt with every single day for 6 years! Moral of the story.... if you have a mentally deficient vehicle like mine.... just try to do all the steps in the process no matter what your vehicle is doing or not doing while you're trying the programming. It might work even if your vehicle isn't chiming or cycling the locks to let you know it's in programming mode. The range is very good.... enough for my use... haven't had to walk closer to get it to work, ever! Quality doesn't feel cheap. Feels like your expect it to feel. ....And I apparently have a panic feature that does exactly THAT.... Make me panic to find the remote to shut it off when I hear it accidently activated by pressing or laying on my fob. Bottom line YES I'm HAPPY, YES I'd buy this again, and YES I'd RECOMMEND it to anyone wondering if they should give it a shot. I'm so happy to have keyless entry after 6 years without it and it makes my day just a little less irritating and more convenient. 1,000% recommend! ... still can't believe it worked on my nightmare of a truck.

I had one fob for my 01 Chevy half ton. Quit working, not the battery, so I normally would buy the factory part for$60, but I wondered if the module in the truck was the problem, so I bought this much cheaper one to see. Works great, and just followed instructions on this page to program. My original fob number ended in 803. There’s one other possibility so make sure. Inside the circuit board has a capital D stamped on the board

Worked perfectly out of the package. My only complaint is the alarm goes off in my pocket fairly easily, but my old one is exactly the same and is OEM.

Got this for a 2001 Yukon Denali XL 1500 match the part number to the remote i currently have. Got the new one in went to go install it and waited over a min holding down the buttons as instructed nothing happens. So i tried the other since i ordered 2 again nothing. So now i decided to try changing the battery thinking maybe these are bad. Pulled the battery from my old remote and and that is when i noticed the difference in the mother board. They are totally different this is not the correct replacement at all. I have included photos of the correct one along with the one that was sent. The first is the one i received others are of the original. I really wish they would post photos of the inside so they can be correctly matched when ordered.
