  • Great low profile keyboard
This is a fantastic option if you're looking for a low profile keyboard. I'll give some highlights/concerns in bullet points to make it easier. - Build quality is fantastic, no deck flex when pressing hard or trying to twist the board. - Consistency between switches is above average, inconsistencies are within spec. - The optical blue switches are fairly quiet, especially considering they're a blue switch. You can get away with using these in medium noise level environments, maybe even medium-low. Something like a coffee shop or cafe would be passable, but they might be too loud for your office or local library. - In my experience, low profile mechanical keyboards suffer from more "switch ping". Pinging is a sound that's made from the spring in the switch (even optical switches have a spring). You can google what this sounds like if you're curious. Pinging may fix itself over time (wearing the spring down), due to temperature / humidity, or it might stay forever. You can fix this by lubing a switch, but I'd reckon that's a bit advanced for most buyers. - Just like the Keychron K2, the layout is nonstandard. More annoyingly, the K3 also has nonstandard stabilizer positions. This means that if you ever need (or want) to replace your keycaps (from wear or just for a new style), you're locked into whatever sets Keychron provides (currently only white/black non shine through). This isn't an issue for most people, but I figured I'd bring it up just in case. - RGB isn't the brightest on the market, especially due to the black baseplate. Having a white option would drastically increase perceived brightness as the light will reflect. However, the keycaps provided with the keyboard look quite good despite this. ... show more

  • Really nice keyboard
Color: Brown Switch
This my second Keychron keyboard. I also have the K5SE. I've had it for over a year and it is great. This K3 has the same build quality and feel to it and I'm using it for my MacBook Air. I had no problems getting it to pair. I wound definitely recommend Keychron keyboards to anyone. Very nicely built. ... show more

  • Keys feel flimsy and keyboard lags
Color: Brown Switch
While it's a very handsome keyboard and the RGB is neat, it's definitely much harder to type on than my Mac magic keyboard because the keys have a lot of wobble and are closely spaced. The other major issue is that there's a lot of lag when I type even moderately quickly, meaning what I type takes a second or two to appear on the screen (wired or BT). Both issues have been deal breaker's. ... show more

  • Great Keyboard !!
Color: Brown Switch
It took a little getting used to the new keyboard from a full one. Nonetheless, it sounds great and feels great to type on. Would recommend!

  • Awesome keyboard!
Perfect size for my lift desk and feels good to type on. I also bought a second keyboard for my laptop. I have both PC and Mac on desk as well as for laptop. Feels very high quality and will last a long time. I also like the compact keyboard layout. The keyboard also frees up room on my desktop for other stuff. If I have a bigger desk, I'll go for other Keychron models. ... show more

  • Terrible typing experience
Color: Brown Switch
I decided to get the Logitech MX mechanical mini for Mac in the color pale gray and I am so happy I did. For whatever reason I can’t seem to type fast or accurately on the Keychron K3 which made me feel a little insecure about my typing abilities considering I’ve learned how to type professionally. With the Logitech keyboard my typing is on point! I look forward to doing my work just so I can use it. ... show more

  • Worst bluetooth connectivity but good product
Color: Brown Switch
Worst bluetooth connectivity, did a replacement but it still caused the same problem. Awesome if you use the cable but makes you regret on bluetooth

  • Thin, nice feel, RGB, hot swappable
Awesome keyboard. Thin (which is great since I don't like chunky keys), nice feel, pretty RGB lighting, hot swappable keys, and great for macOS. The red switches actuate super fast so maybe I should've gotten brown/blue, but I probably just have to get used to it.
