I actually bought this for my tortoise. And I built it myself even though the instructions say two people. So it took a little longer but the directions were super clear and it was an easy process. All parts were clearly marked. Once it came together with braces and all parts installed it became very sturdy. The instructions said it would smell after unpacking, which it did, but it has improved overnight. My tortoise hasn't actually yet used it, but I think it will work very well for him. Of course I'll have to put a 3" ramp in front of the door so he can get in.

It was smaller than I expected but it worked. It was very sturdy when I finished putting it together. I love the little window and the hinged roof makes it easy to get the bed out to be cleaned. I thought the price was good, and the material will last a long time. The wood was well painted and should last . Directions were not as clear as they could have been, but I figured it out!

We noticed as we were building it what looked like glitter and once we took a closer look it looked like fiber glass😢 we've dealt with it before with a mattress we had once. We didnt want to risk it if it was fiberglass and had to throw it away it was everywhere on that dog house 😢

Very happy with this purchase, especially the wonderful customer service I received when I contacted the seller about some slight damage during shipping. They immediately rectified the issue. It was easy to assemble and lightweight, so it’s easy to move. The doghouse is not really waterproof, so I used a waterproof spray paint primer and then various waterproof spray paint colors on it. It’s looks great, IMO! I got a waterproof dog bed to put inside it, and it fits perfectly! *My dogs are indoor pets, but my one little English Bulldog Dottie loves to be outdoors even if it’s raining or snowing, so I was hoping by providing her shelter in the dog run she would at least use the doghouse when it’s raining. Sure enough, she has used it the 2 times it has rained after I put it together although she still sticks her head out and “licks” the rain, but at least it’s just her head that gets soaking wet now and not her entire body! LOL!

Very sturdy and everything aligned perfectly. And it looks great! One brace for the bottom was missing. Also, the top does not open, which would have been better for me.
