This dog house is perfect for large dogs like German Shepherds. The design is sturdy, weather-resistant, and provides great ventilation with side windows and a front flap door. There is some issues with this dog house. 1. There is no pre-hole on majority of the pieces so good luck trying to eyes ball where to screw. 2. The screws that comes with it will not hold for longevity like the hinges for the roof it will eventually pop off. 3. The wood is NOT solid wood, its very soft easy to chip and Crack. The upside: It does hold my 162lbs Cane Corso for the time being, convenient to see inside by lifting the roof, keeps rain out but, i recommend culking the roof its come in 3 pieces eventually it will leak if it rains too hard. It fits well in my back yard and easy to move around.

I decided to buy this large dog house so my dog would have a place of his own when out side in the yard. My dog is a medium to larg breed and he fits comfortably in this extra large dog house with plenty of room to spare. The house is extremely easy to assembled and only cost a couple of hours to fully assemble. Once fully assembled, I was able to move it with farm equipment to its permanent location. In doing this I found out that it is extremely stable and will last for years to come Some of my favorite features for this dog house is that the window on the right side has a cover to help block the wind, and that the roof opens. The roof opening is essential because when my furry friend brings something back home from his adventures on over the farm, I will be able to clean it out faster. Another awesome feture that helps in keeping the house clean is the removalable floor. This extra large dog house is a must have for any one that has a dog that loves to spend time outside rain or shine.

I have a 120 lb German Sheppard so I was looking for a dog house big enough for him. After reading the reviews I decided to purchase this one knowing it might have some issues with broken pieces of wood. Product arrived in two boxes, intact, no apparent damage. I opened up and inventoried everything to ensure nothing was broken or damaged-no issues so I moved on to assembling the doghouse. Instructions are a bit misleading, maybe I should say not very clear. Some panels were not labeled as noted in the instruction guide but figured it out after a bit. Walls seemed a bit thin, which I think made the until feel very light. In the end I finished the assembly and introduced my pup to his mansion! So far he hasn't used it at all. 😀 I do like the look and feel of the house but I think the manufacturer could do a bit better using a more sturdy wood and providing clearer assembly instructions. If they had done this, I would have rated this a 5

Purchased in October 2025 and it has not held up as advertised. After normal outdoor use, the wood panels and frame started separating and coming apart. I expected it to last much longer based on the description claiming it was weatherproof and durable. Disappointed with the quality for the price.

Very nice I would recommend this dog house it took me about 2 hours to put together by myself but that's because I'm slow and my dog seems to like it a lot

I put it together by myself in about 1 1/2 hours.. I think there were a couple areas using very small screws that may or may not last in the Wisconsin weather. Looks like a quality dog house.

It assembled easily, but the wood is a lighter wood that won the hold up under pressure. I have a german shepherd and she has made the house wobbly, I had to build a frame inside to stabilize it.. house would be good for small. Dogs but not big ones
