In New Mexico these things are expendable due to wind. Good value for the cost. No zip ties, just an empty cloth pouch. Gotta use metal ones anyway, the sun destroys the cheap ones in two months. I do like them. I put up on the chain link fence. You can slightly see through, which is fine. They were more to keep the dogs from being buttheads lol. So far they have withstood 4 thunderstorms with 60 mph winds and not even a slight rip or anything. Absolutely would recommend if you want something sturdy and strong. ... show more

So, we share a crappy fence with a neighbor (they are responsible for the side we share) that has the most annoying Pug in the entire universe. I don’t know if you’ve ever heard a pug barking, but it has the same effect as nails on a chalkboard. Well, these people leave their annoying pug and some other large mixed breed dog outside 24/7. We live in TX where it’s been triple digit weather for like a month straight too, by the way. Well, this pug barks at EVERYTHING. Can’t really blame him with owners like that though. We have four huskies (we owned 3 before the military moved here and just rescued one). They only go outside to use the bathroom in this heat, but when they do that dog loses his mind and tries to get into our yard. This is bad for numerous reasons, but mainly because my dogs would rip this thing apart in seconds because huskies have incredibly high prey drives. So, instead of spending thousands of dollars putting up additional fencing, we put up this privacy fence. So far it seems to obscure the dog’s views enough that they don’t automatically key in on each other. My husband ignored my instructions on how I wanted him to put it up so you can still see through it because he stretched it out so much. Since it only covered half our fence line I’ll need to buy another one and I’ll put it up by myself the way I wanted him/asked him to do it in the first place.     • Easy to install Privacy Screen Fence. Well designed.

What makes this privacy screen fence easy to install is the solid brass grommets that are well placed to maximize a tight install. This screen stands out with 2 brass grommets at every corner. From my experience using these types of screens around tennis courts, this is where most screen such as these fail, especially against a brisk wind. The placement of the 2 corner grommets allow for a more secure and tight stretch during installation. Pulling on the fabric to ensure a seamless installation does not cause stretching or damage to this heavy duty wind-screen. Zip ties or aluminum wire can be used to tautly anchor the screen (I have used a combination of both). The material allows air to pass through without ripping. However, very strong winds may be problematic. Partial rolling may be needed in strong wind conditions to avoid slashing the windscreen for air passage. At six feet tall, it’s the perfect height for reasonable privacy. Time will tell as to the durability of the materials through the different seasons. Fifty feet of windscreen is not quite enough for our purposes, and as I’m impressed with the heavy duty feel of this fence, and with the nearly complete visual blockage, I plan to purchase another one. ... show more
