    • Relief valve leaks and water heater stopped working after about 1.5 months of use.
First delivery by USPS was delayed by 3 days. When it arrived, they had repackage it in whatever box they had laying around and heater was missing parts. I returned that oneand Amazon sent me a replacement. Replacement installed and was working but I noticed a weeping of water coming from around the pressure relief valve. I removed it and put new thread tape and tightened as much as I could which helped with the weep but a very small amount was noticed the next day. I figured I would just have to live with it because the return window had already closed. About a week later, the water heater stoipped working altogether. The power light was on but water was not hot whatsoever. I tried cycling power but that did absolutely nothing. Amazon customer service agreed to refund my purchase price, minus a restocking fee when i told them I would rather not deal with this product and live with out hot water until the issue was resolved. ... show more

    • Works great for my intended use
Got tired of flushing water down the drain in the kitchen waiting for it to get hot (about 1 minute), and in bathrooms, needing 5 seconds of hot water for rinsing hands, etc. and just using cold instead because of the wait. With this small 2.5 gal water heater - installed in the hot water line right under several sinks (kitchen and bathroom), the water is hot before you can move your hand from the faucet to the water stream. At 2.5 gal and set the same as the main water heater (120F), the temperature holds at hot-to-warm until the hot water from the main house water heater arrives (an occasional kitchen sink situation). For my intended use the $73/yr federal energy sticker cost is useless. It is calculated based on hot water use 10+ times higher than our bathroom sink and even higher than the kitchen sink (the dishwasher is still direct-connect to the main water heater since it heats its own water). Our electricity is under $0.10/kwh, so I figure these are costing us less than $10/yr for bathrooms and maybe $25~$30/yr for the kitchen. Well worth it. ... show more

I love this tiny electric water heater that I’m using for my outdoor kitchen faucet on our patio. It’s lightweight so was easy to handle and install and it puts out all the hot water we need, which isn’t a lot being how it’s used minimally. I insulated the cabinet area it’s in just to play it safe for any possible freezing nights in the winter. I did have a couple small leaks at the fittings but was able to fix those due to some decent plumbing experience I’ve had in the past. Very functional. It is very easy to hookup. It's small and does not take up a lot of space underneath the sink. Nice to have instant hot water in the morning, especially in the winter time.

I installed this and it leaked immediately...profusely. It wasn't a water line issue. Something was broken or cracked. I ended up replacing it with a slightly more expensive one; One with a well-known name that likely had better quality control. It could have been a fluke, but I'd stay away from this unit. ... show more

This little water heater works pretty well. It’s definitely not going to fill your bathtub but it’s great for what it is. We used it in a pinch in our motorhome when the installed water heater failed. It is now installed in the bunk house. We made sure to put in a RV style limited shower head and it’ll give a reasonable shower in about 20 minutes. The temperature is adjustable but it gets reasonably hot.
