I bought it for our laundry room sink that would never get warm enough to use. Instead of getting a recirculation pump, I decided to go for instant water heater. So happy I did, this is perfect and generates HOT water. Also, it doesn’t require you to use a timer like a recirculation pump. My handyman told me that a recirculation pump can work, but if you’re at home all day long, you’ll be out of luck and your bill will be higher. I use this small RV heater as a quick water heater in my kid's bathroom, as it takes a lot of time for hot water to get there. It's just the size that fits into the under sink and I like the knob for temperature control, makes it easier. One thing that needs pointed out: it requires a double 1/2 Inch FIP Connectors to connect from the output hose to the tap. It is not found in local hardware stores. But of course, a quick search on Amazon solves it. ... show more

We love it! It is a real life-changer in my kitchen! Used to take 60+ seconds to get hot water, WAY too long. Now it's instant! And it generates really hot water! Installation can be challenging depending upon your individual circumstances or it could be simple. I connected it to the hot water line so eventually the 75 gallon tank will supply hot water to this one. The installation was easy, just connect the water tube and you are good to go. I placed this unit under the water sink and it fits perfectly. I love the controls with the LED temperature gauge, works quickly and well. Since the heater is right below the sink, hot water is there in 3 seconds. I keep the temp at 140 degrees, but water can get scalding hot if needed!!! No more waiting for the hot water when washing hands. The cable seems strong and provided good safety production.
