I work a lot in coffee shops and with sensitive information. One day a barista commented from behind on something I was writing. That creeped me out to say the least! So I looked at reviews of different privacy shields and this one was top-notch for shorter viewing angles. And they were right! This works great. The only thing that is slightly annoying, is if I have it so that the screen is tilting forward because I'm propping up the front for reading, like on the bed, it will start to fall forward from the bottom. I know there is a little bit of tape or some sticky corner angle pieces, but based on the instructions, I really don't see how to use it. And I want to be able to take this off and on when I want. Is it worth the amount of money it cost? I'm still on the fence about that. But I do love it!

It is almost like it was made for the Book 3. I tried to get a photo of the bottom corner, sorry for the blurriness. But it is a near perfect size. The magnets at the top locked right onto the laptop without needing any of the included extra stickers. It may actually be a little TOO perfect. Since it does not have any extra on the bottom (see picture) there really is no room to put magnets on it without going into the screen. This is fine because it stays on great without it. However, when I close the lid, the protector starts to pull away and gets tangled without holding it with my fingers carefully. And when you open the lid it sticks to the bottom half of the laptop where the keyboard is and I have to reattach. Still, I will not bother with the extra stickers as this is not a big deal for me. Good thing is when it is closed it does not interfere with the two halves of the laptop. The only real gripe I have is the included protector sleeve is cardboard and not the plastic that have come with other Belkin protectors I have. The plastic ones are much more sturdy and provide better protection. Luckily I can swap with one of them but a little disappointing. Overall though, its a works very well.

Perfect for more private laptop use. The magnetic attachment across the top allows the screen to attach to the laptop display with good alignment and easy removal. The field of view from the side of the laptop display is greatly limited as you would expect from a privacy screen. I'd offer that this is a much needed accessory for travel and even in the office (if you work on confidential materials). The only draw back and the reason I didn't give it 5 stars, is the bottom edge. You need to use small stickers to keep it attached the the bottom of the screen. Otherwise the privacy screen will hang loose and cause the text on the screen to be blurry (unless the privacy screen is right up against the laptop screen). The top magnets are amazing, I wish they could have done the same on the bottom edge.

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I was really disappointed with this product. I’m required to use a privacy screen for work when I’m in the office or coffee shops, and I bought this one hoping it would do the job. Even though it fits my 14-inch MacBook Pro perfectly (make sure you double-check your model before ordering), the screen arrived slightly bent or warped, so it doesn’t sit flat on my display. This causes a blurry effect and distorts the image quality. Worse, I could still see the screen clearly from side angles, so it’s not as private as advertised. At $40, it’s just not worth it. I ended up replacing it with another privacy screen that had better reviews, was cheaper, and actually works. Unfortunately, I trusted the brand so much that I threw the packaging away in frustration and can’t return it. I don’t recommend this one—especially when there are better options out there for less money.

I have this on my screen right now while writing this review and I'm sure someone is looking over my shoulder and can see that I'm giving it 3 stars. It fits seamlessly and the laptop does still close with it on which is nice so its made well. But as for privacy it's not perfect. If you have your brightness all the way up you can see what you are doing on screen from the side angles. You can't see words being written but as for whats on screen you can see it. The screen does add a bit of fuzziness so the clarity isn't like looking at the bare screen but that's to be expected with adding anything in front of your monitor. But I guess this is still the best privacy screen thats on the market for apple products.
