I have had my Surface GO for a few years, its my right hand for work/home and play - 24/7. I have tried a few cases along the way, but this is by far - hands down - the best and well thought out! This case is awesome. Perfect fit, is slimline but snug and very secure and also has a holder for my pen etc. If you have a keyboard, that fit is great too and there is actually a flip tab to hold that in place. The hand strap on the back ... stuck like glue, snug and secure. Two things of note ... the pen holder is on the left side, I would switch that, or lengthen the cord, only because it is great where it is for vertical writing, but not so much for horizontal writing. Second is the charging port (and I 'get' why the pen holder is on the left side) I got a warning the other morning that I was out of power, even though I charge it every night. The way the protection sides are set up, you need to be very aware that your power cable actually 'lights up' when you plug it in. Neither of those are deal breakers, just something that you need to take notice of. If I ever need another one ... I know what brand I am going to buy

The case fits my Surface Go 3 really snugly and has a nice appearance. I usually scoff at manufacturers' claims of their products meeting Mil-Std-XXX with no references to certifications, etc to back up the claims. However, I have taken my Surface Go 3 in its Blackbelt case to many wilderness locations over the last two plus years and accidentally dropped it during use on asphalt and packed dirt many times. I'm amazed that my device has not suffered any damage from the abuse. The case has really worked for me.

Over all the product is good for protecting my Surface go. The case holds the tablet and pen nicely. No worry of them falling out. The keyboard locking tab has help up so far also, keeps the keyboard in place when it is closed. the only problem so far are the cut outs for the power cord and the usbc. If you are careful the power connector will stay in place due to it being a tight fit. The cord will be pushed out (can not lay flat inside the port) and the connector will come undone. I believe it is due to the case coming out to far from the side of the Surface go. I say this because it also affect the usbc slot when using a dongle. you can not get the adapter in to hook up anything. I have had to take the Surface Go out of the case to hook up and external hard drive. Other than that it is a good case worth the money.

I highly recommend this protective cover for one's MS Surface Pro 8 computer. I would recommend this to family members and friends. This Kensington product might be one of the more expensive rugged cases but it performs in stellar ways! I have been using in for a couple months now. Set up was a breeze. I have NO ISSUE with the fit of the Surface Pro keyboard. The Surface Pro pen fits securely out of the way. The power cable fits perfectly, unlike a review I read before my purchase, so the manufacturer must have improved this feature in time. BTW, I also purchased from Amazon a spare wall power supply as well as a pair of mobile (12VDC) power supplies for portable operations. (I wish I could buy a spare internal battery because it doesn't seem to have an awesome capacity for my uses. Maybe I will find a way around this later, unless it is a service call item? Lastly, the Surface Pro 8 does not have an mic input for recording, certainly no line-level input, so I guess I need to get an external USB-C audio interface. But I now digress. All things considered, these purchases are serving me very well.

So I’ve always been an apple gang these last few months I’ve gotten two surfaces and I was quite surprised when I found out that there weren’t a whole lot of selections for cases in fact there’s really not much in the way of selection so it was important for me to be able to use the tape cover but I also have some kind of protection that was minimal and not to obtrusive or bulky because I carry them in my backpack. So when I came across this I what I would call a bumper I was a bit skeptical because it seemed a little more expensive than the others but there’s nothing more annoying than a case that unfolds until like three times the size and you have to deal with all the flaps everywhere if you know what I mean. So I ordered it I received it and again I’m still not calling it a case but it’s made it this far with me and I am pretty happy with it all and all the type cover fits in it nicely and it is incorporated into the bumper well they Spared no expense there. HOWEVER..... It came with a pen holder as I feel all cases for the surface should now I also have a surface Pro X with the same case and it’s pen holder is on the top of this case and it fits quite nicely into it you’ll notice in the pictures this pen holder is on the side. I should also note that on the surface Pro X version the only part of the pen holder that’s exposed is a small Section in the middle otherwise the pen is completely encased in the bumper so to speak This one they seem to do the opposite the whole pens exposed except for one little section that’s holding it now to top it off they tied a string to something that was supposed to go on the pen which then gave you about 6 feet of string to do it with I don’t know I guess you’re supposed to wrap it around the pen holder? So annoyed with that I cut the string off which is OK but now I have this huge knob sticking out On the left-hand side holding the pen which as you’re probably thinking gets knocked off of it pretty frequently coming in and out of the backpack I wish that would’ve been done differently otherwise don’t call it a case called a bumper

Product failed within a couple of months of use. The plastic simply broke while being transported in my backpack. No drops or impacts, no crushing. I just pulled it out of the protective sleeve at work one day and the plastic had split at the bottom left hand corner. I looked into whether this product was covered under warranty but couldn't find an easy way to do this through Kensington's website. Disappointing result.
