Works beautifully. Hard to tell the screen has the film on. The film has a thin magnetic strip at the top that firmly clings to the screen. The strip doesn’t block one’s view of the screen’s content - it is very narrow - and it doesn’t scratch the screen since the strip seems to be padded with something soft. Also, the screen is as thin or thinner than the small rubber edge that outlines the Mac’s screen. I like that it’s a firm hold that can be pulled away but doesn’t slip down at all from the top or fall off. Also nice to see it has a matte and glossy side. I wish the bottom had small magnetic pieces in the corner. The bottom corners do benefit from tiny, thin, included tabs. But, I don’t leave the tabs on and the screen stays on flat when the matte side is facing me. ... show more

I returned the first one assuming it had a defect. Turns out the product is itself horrible. - If you don't use the stickers provided, the privacy screen will dangle at near the bottom, making anything near the dock a lot harder to see. - The stickers are useless because if you remove the privacy screen a few times, they no longer stick to the screen. - I have the glossy side on, and about 15% of the screen from the edges to the right and left are not as bright when looking at the centre of the screen. It works. Mac still closes just fine and it reduces viewing angles and brightness when I need it. Easy enough to remove and put on. The problem is the bottom has no attachment so it'll just dangle if you have the screen at less than a 90deg angle
