The media could not be loaded. The shade adds so much to this already beautiful lamp. Be aware that the bottom of the lamp is 9 inches in diameter. The one/off pulls are as smooth as butter.

We bought both the brushed silver 3 bulb ceiling fixture and the 2 bulb floor lamp. Though neither are of super high quality, the ceiling fixture is more than passable for the money. It looks very nice in our room. The style is excellent and ALL the extension tubes can be removed for a fairly short length. 4 Stars. The floor lamp however has a major flaw, the lights sit so low in relation to the shade that they are terribly visible from a sitting position if you have the light near a chair. It's glaring and harsh. I thought I might remove the extension tube for the shade, therefore effectively raising the bulbs or lowering the shade but that didn't work as then the bulbs would be very noticeable from a standing position. No matter how you cut it, the light needs either a bottom or top diffuser to eliminate the problem. At this price point, it's going back for these flaws. As an aside, the shade we received had some of the cork peeled off (the cork is the thinnest example of a veneer, glued to a cloth drum shade). 2 Stars ... show more

You know how difficult it is to find a good lamp? Well congratulations. You just found a great lamp. The lovely, versatile style, the practical design, the obvious quality, the reasonable price. I like it so much I bought a second one within 10 minutes of taking it out of the carton.

This is the first time I've purchased a used item though Amazon. I really didn't expect good results, but guess what - it turned out to be fantastic! The 'lamp' was shipped safely and the condition was close to primo. The best part is I saved over $100 off the list price. Very happy camper here!!!!!

After a few years of trying to replace an old lamp, this was purchased. We enjoy the easy pulls and the amount of light radiated from the lamp. The shade is beautiful. We also purchased a companion ceiling chandelier to go over our dining table. Also enjoy this lighting.

When the light is turned off this is a stunning lamp. Very beautiful. The cork adds an unexpected organic feel to the overall style. However, when you turn the lamp on there is an area in the middle of the shade where the cork layers overlap which results in a dark band around the shade.
