Nice, larger size, bolt on kennel dishes. Stainless steel, so they are easy to clean and won't rust. I got these to use for rabbits (I have large ones 9-12 lbs). The bolt on feature is nice; so, no straining to reach bowls that have been relocated to the back. The large capacity is nice, especially for the water. I will use these in some of the weaning pens with multiple rabbits in them, so several can drink at one time. Now, the downside. For the size, (I have another set that isn't quite as large) I really wish they would have a retaining screw to lock the dish in the mounting ring. Often, once the dish is empty, the rabbits will play with the dish and are able to get it out of the holder. Not a huge deal, but if you are looking to not have to crawl or reach into the kennel to reassemble them, these may not be for you (at least right out of the box; could possibly modify?). I would image you would encounter the same experience with dogs or cats being able to slip them out of the mounting rings. On the plus side, this does make them easy to remove for cleaning or filling and gives the animal something else to play with.

So full disclosure for me, these are a 3 but that’s for my use case. Overall these are a 5 for the right person. They’re solid, easy to install/remove, and very sturdy. As long as you get them tightened down well they’re stable and will work as you expect. My problem with them is the size. They’re narrow and deep, for water, our German Shepard could manage a drink while full, same for food. But they were too narrow for her snout if it wasn’t full. Might be a better experience for a smaller dog but probably not for a short snout dog, not a lot of room in the bowl.

They do not stay in their holders! They are easily knocked out of their holders, and make a real mess soaking everything that my dog has to lay on in her dog crate while we are at work! Very disappointed with this item, and will not buy again.

I know these are dog crate bowls, but I use them for chickens that get housed individually or in small groups. All my chicken coops are hoop coops made from cattle panels and 1/2-inch hardware cloth. These bowls are easy to attach to that type of coop at whatever height is needed for the particular bird(s). Easy to clean and refill. I use them for both water and feed. Makes for a nice clean and organized set-up for the chickens. They are big enough for them to easily get food or water, but small enough to prevent the full-size chickens from scratching around in them when hung high enough.

Like most kennel bowl attachments, these are secured to a crate wall by tightening metal plates in place with a pair of wingnuts (See photos.) You secure a pair of hoops where you want the bowls to be suspended and slip the bowls themselves into their corresponding hoops to hang them in place. Very simple. Very easy. Quite effective. The bowls are sizable and definitely adequate for any large dog. Obviously, they would be fine for a small dog, too, but they would cut more significantly into a small crate-space. The bowls I received had scratches/score-marks/grooves (?) in various places (see photos). These were a bit off-putting, but I needed the bowls right away. I gave them a thorough washing and put them to use. So far; so good. The bowls also come with three bonus rolls of poop bags and a travel dispenser. The dispenser is very thin and cheap. I expect its clip will be the first part to snap off. Truth be told: I've not yet "tried" any of the bags, but I highly doubt anyone is buying these crate bowls for the poop bags.
