Doesn't work. We just took it out of the box and had it installed by the contractors remodeling our kitchen .It powered on and then the power kept glitching until it wouldn't turn on at all. Called a plumber to come assess and he said the fuse box is burnt out.

The worst bran I ever bought. We did not use the dish washer as broken in a week time. The worst of it is the aligned technitian from Sears that has visited our home for over 4 days and failed to repair. I do not recommed any one to buy this product.

If my old dishwasher was a tired intern barely keeping up, this dishwasher is a five-star executive chef who never breaks a sweat. First, the control panel is hidden at the top of the door, which means I no longer accidentally start a wash cycle just by existing near it. This dishwasher has an EasyFlex 3rd Rack, which is basically the penthouse suite for all my stray utensils, measuring cups, and that one tiny lid I can never find a home for. SmartWash and UltraWash Plus do all the thinking for me because honestly at this point in life, I can barely decide what’s for dinner, let alone what cycle my dishes need. And TurboDry? My dishes actually come out dry – which is a revelation. Plus, the front panel is fingerprint-resistant, so it doesn’t look like a complete disaster each time I walk into the kitchen. Efficient, quiet, and way smarter than I’ll ever be… especially when it comes to clean dishes. 10/10, highly recommend ... show more

    • A Decent Modern Dishwasher, But They Sure Don't Build Them Like They Used To

We replaced a dishwasher from the early 2010s with this Kenmore and the experience has been a mixed bag of appreciation and mild disappointment. It looks great, runs quietly at 45 DBA, and the stainless steel finish fits in nicely with the rest of the kitchen. As a new appliance, it obviously feels like an upgrade simply because everything works and nothing is worn out. But when you start comparing the overall build and design philosophy to what dishwashers used to be, you notice where corners have been cut. The third rack is useful for utensils and small items, freeing up space in the lower racks. The lower racks themselves roll smoothly and the tine layout is flexible enough to accommodate most dish sizes without too much rearranging. The 15 place setting capacity is adequate for a household that runs the dishwasher daily. Cleaning performance with the SmartWash cycle has been acceptable for everyday loads. Heavily soiled pots and pans sometimes need a second pass or a pre-rinse, which is not unusual for modern dishwashers that use less water than older models. The TurboDry feature works reasonably well on ceramics and metals but plastics still come out damp, which again is pretty standard these days. The reach-thru handle is a clean design choice that avoids the protruding bar handle look, though it does take a slightly different motion to open than a traditional handle. Minor adjustment, not a complaint. Where the mild disappointment creeps in is the overall sense that modern appliances are built to a price point in ways that older ones were not. The door feels lighter, the interior components feel a touch less substantial, and you get the impression that longevity was not the top priority during engineering. The old dishwasher lasted well over a decade and felt overbuilt by today's standards. Whether this one will do the same remains to be seen. At this price point it is a competent, quiet, energy efficient dishwasher that does what it is supposed to do. Just go in with the understanding that the appliance industry has shifted and you are getting a different kind of value than you did 15 years ago. ... show more
