I sent this amethyst necklace to a friend for her January birthday, and she loved it. I couldn't resist and ordered one for myself. I received the peridot green with gold chain and it is a gorgeous combination. I've never cared for my birthstone peridot much, but this one is beautiful! I'm very pleased with the quality of this necklace and the size of the stone. The chain has a sturdy clasp on it and it's adjustable in length which is a wonderful feature. Looks as pictured! Very beautiful and goes with everything! The stone is clear as in see through so that’s important to know. I don’t know about it turning or tarnishing in water because I haven’t got it wet. I will say the chain is a little shorter than average, but that’s ok. Doesn’t turn my neck green! All in all good buy. I got it on sale for around $30 not sure if I’d splurge and spend $60/70 the regular price, but definitely happy with it for what I paid! ... show more
