What I loved: well made extender, soldered everywhere, well plated, mechanism of clasp works smoothly. What I didn’t: the links are really big. I wish they had been smaller. The extender is being used on a very delicate chain so there’s a size mismatch. However, it’s a gemstone and gold necklace, so safety and security were much more important. I also wish it weren’t so overpackaged! It’s packed like fine jewelry. It’s just rhodium plated brass. But overall very pleased. I bought an extender from JCP that failed before my daughter could even use it. {rolls eyes}

Great solution if you have a necklace that is just a little too short. Easy to install, material is great, size is Goldilocks'd right in the middle. And it does exactly what it's supposed to. Overall, very happy with this simple, but elegant solution.

I'm not a maniac about packaging but the amount of packaging for this inexpensive item was much, much too much. It's on a sturdy plastic card with a wire holder and inside a plastic sleeve inside an amazing box along with directions and a storage bag and cloth and then all of this is inside another plastic ziploc bag that is taped. Needless to say, it arrived undamaged but, I would rather have had 3 more extenders included instead of all that expensive packaging that had to be shipped. If I had bought an expensive piece from Kendra Scott, all the packaging would be great, but doesn't seem necessary for this small item. However the extenders I received will do the trick but I'm reluctant to buy more unless I can request no packaging :). I know it's all part of the branding but I sure don't see how Ms. Scott made any money on these purchases.
