So far this chair seems to be solid and quiet. I did place some nylon washers between the chair and the plate to avoid metal on metal contact. I also am not sure how the plastic locks for the arm rest will withstand the severe cold winters. Side note, I ordered 3 chairs and they sent me two and sent the 3rd back with little to no explanation. It’s not a knock on the chair quality but it does affect the buying experience. ... show more

Package was damaged. One of the thumb screws that attach the seat was bent and unusable. I was needing the seat for a deer hunt, so accepted that 3 left would suffice. One of the main features of this seat is that it suppose to be silent. This is true for maybe one use ( Truely not even one). The area that is the pivot point of the seat, that comes greased, squeezes out the grease and becomes dry and squeaks loudly when turning the seat. Not a good design at all. There needs to be some way of sealing this in. Not worth the money that I paid. (Update, I would have given this chair 0 stars if it was possible!) Has to be one of the loudest seats I have ever owned! Trash. Update! The chair noise is still a major issue, but the seller is very attentive and addresses the concerns.
