    • The Best Keloid Cream!

I developed two sensitive keloids from my cartilage piercings a year ago, I tried treating them with other keloid creams and piercing cleaning sprays such as base laboratories, but I didn’t notice a difference. After I noticed an increase in irritation I bought this cream as a last hope, it was so worth it because my keloid 3 days ago was literally BLACK from blood, but after using it daily for 3 days it has reduced in size and the color has blended into my typical skin tone. The cream goes a long way for a little amount, and unlike previous creams I have used this is not sticky! I was worried it would stick to my hair like past creams but it didn’t, I feel like my skin just soaked up the gel. I used around a pea size a day. I would really recommend!! ... show more

    • Flattened my keloid scar from cystic acne on my face.
Works great. I was always skeptical of these "scar treatment gels" for a long time, but I finally caved into this product after reading some reviews. I had a keloid scar on my face as the aftermath of a large cystic acne. I squeezed and messed with it very harshly, as I was frustrated, but NEVER pick at these spots (easier to give this advice then take :)) For months, I thought this scar was simply the cystic acne not healing as I understand sometimes these cystic bumps just don't go away for months. But, it was a keloid/hypertrophic scar. This gel has flattened the scar. There's still some hyperpigmentation, but I never intended on using this gel for pigment issues (I'll continue my routine of using retinoids, vit c, other actives for pigmentation issues). It does dry a bit tacky, so if you're using this for your face, it may be tricky to use under makeup (I just avoided using make up on that area for a while). Also, it was a bit tricky for me to incorporate in my skincare routine as I was using this on my face. If it were on my body or elsewhere, I would just apply it on clean dry skin as they instructed. But, this is how I used it on my face (just my personal way - you should just follow their directions): After washing my face, I would apply my actives and moisturize (everywhere on my face including the scar area). Then I would wait a bit (~5 minutes) for everything to settle, and then I would take a tissue and blot the scar area so that there are no oils there. Then I would apply a very thin layer of kelo-cote. I wasn't completely sure on their instructions. I believe they want you to wash the scar area, dry, and then apply the kelo cote directly on the clean skin. However, for me, being a skincare fanatic, I couldn't let go of my actives nor moisturizers, so I would just blot afterwards. (Again, please follow their instructions and not mine). A couple of things to note. My scar was again from cystic acne and it was around 6 months old. I saw initial results within a week. I have not tried this on older larger scars, so I cannot say much on other types of scars. This will NOT work for indented acne scars (ice pick, rolling, etc.); this will only work for RAISED scars. ... show more

It is easy to apply. I did not see any difference in my scar after 1 week of use. My scar is also painful, forming a keloid. I'll try something else.

I thought this for the first time 2023 and it worked well. I tried to buy it again and they sent me some stickers instead which really had me upset. I bought the liquid again and it doesn't seem to be really doing much. It's easy to apply but I'm not seeing the keloids go down at all this time and the bottles are tiny. ... show more

My surgeon at a major USA hospital recommended that I use this. I looked at the ingredients to compare with other scar cream/gels and none were the same. I've had numerous surgeries and without a doubt this is definitely the best product for healing and preventing scarring.I had surgery that involved an incision from above my ear six inches down my neck so I definitely wanted the scar to be less noticeable.     • No Visible Results - Disappointed with Kelo-cote Scar Gel

I recently purchased the Kelo-cote Advanced Formula Scar Gel, hoping to see improvement in the appearance of my scars. After consistent use as directed, I am disheartened to report that I have noticed no visible change in my scars. When investing in a specialized product like a scar gel, you anticipate at least some level of effectiveness. However, despite my hopes and the product's promising description, the results have been non-existent. I have been diligently applying the gel, expecting to see gradual improvement, but there has been no discernible difference in the texture, color, or overall appearance of my scars. The consistency and ease of application of the gel are fine, but without the desired results, these aspects become irrelevant. For a product that markets itself as an "advanced formula," I expected a higher level of performance. It's particularly disappointing considering the price point, which is on the higher side for such a small quantity. It's important to acknowledge that scar treatment can vary depending on the individual and the type of scar. However, based on my personal experience, the Kelo-cote Scar Gel has not lived up to its claims.
