  • Coolest new kid-room hangout feature
Color: Black Size: Queen+staircase
Really pleased with how this is workout for us! It feels quite sturdy, and I was able to do the assembly all by myself (40F) except when I needed to right it onto its legs for the second half of the assembly. All the parts and instructions were organized and clear, so I didn't have too much trouble—it just took me six hours haha. The step "stairwell" is a bit narrow for adult bodies, but the kids are up and down easy. My tip might be to put the mattress up on the rails before adding the shelf that runs along the top. I don't think that it would interfere with the remaining steps of assembly, and it'd make it a bit easier to haul/push the mattress onto the top, but we also made it happen even when the shelf was still there. We did knock some things off the wall though, so that's some to keep in mind in your room. But it's really great and I thteorth the money. It is a bit creaky and noisy under movement and weight, but maybe it'll break in a bit. It fit our standard queen mattress perfectly, and crouching underneath is manageable for us adults to put things away or whatnot. A chair fits under there with room to spare. On the sides (head/foot) there's no extra height, so we slipped some shelving between the mattress and frame on the non-steps side so things (and kids) don't roll off. It's working great! We just had to change light fixtures in our room so the clearance above was safer and flush. The packaging was heavy but well cushioned and it all came intact and unharmed for us. The wooden steps boards smelled like they had relatively fresh stain on them, but that was the only odor and it cleared out fairly quickly. Its size and measurements were exactly as expected and it sure fills the room! As long as you have the room to assemble it in the room you intend for it to reside in, you'll be set! ... show more

  • Love the frame.
Color: Black Size: Twin+staircase
Love the bed frame. Its sturdy and it looks great. Received both boxes and no missing bolts. It did take a couple of hours to assemble. Definitely worth the money. Make sure the mattress is the recommended size. I love the space it provides underneath.

  • I love my new bed!
Color: Black Size: Full+Staircase+Grid
So far it's been a week. Overall, I love this bed. The shelf running higher than the rails is genius. The pros: for the most part, assembly was easy. The parts are pretty well made and sturdy. There is a little movement when turning over, but that's honestly to be expected. Unlike some people, I have had no issues with the planks for the steps, and I am not tiny, I am a150.lb adult. I have 8 ft ceilings in my room and can sit up comfortably. The main coin? The assembly of the"ribs" for the bed. The crosspost, except for the intermittent holder ones, are slow into place. But they are allowed into holes, so slide one side in, and the others try to slide out. This is only an issue during assembly, as one all the bolts are in place and tightened, they are snugly held in position. The spine running down the center is heavy duty, so i feel secure enough. Con #2: plan on some sort of carpet or no slip for the stairs. They get pretty slippery with any amount of dust and we live in the desert southwest. I am carpeting mine. Pro tip: metal flexes and settles. For the first month go over it weekly and tighten any bolts that may loosen as everything settles into place. This is completely normal. I was torn between 4 and 5 stars. But i don't like to ding for assembly unless it's really over the top painful, and the product is a good value and what i needed to free up for space for my dogs. One small section of annoying assembly doesn't make for losing a star IMO. In summary, I love the way it turned out. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a more teen to adult bed as the shelf allows for many uses and convenience. ... show more

  • Kid loves it! So-so quality
Color: White Size: Full+staircase+Desk
This review is specific to the full size frame with desk and staircase. The bed is good enough, but assembly requires attention to detail to make up for some sloppy manufacturing. Full assembly took 6 hours, including a trip to the hardware store to replace some mis-sized hardware. The instructions are picture-based only. Most of the images are clear enough, but a few omit holes from the illustrations, making it hard to orient pieces. I only had to re-do one step because of a poorly-illustrated part. The framing is assembled with poor tolerances. Numerous welds are not at clean angles and the framing has to flex a bit for tight assembly. I’m curious to see how those welds hold up to stress over time. The hardware seems of good quality, but one set of bolts were threaded at the wrong pitch. Specifically the six M6-35 bolts (Part F) used in steps 35 & 41 are standard (coarse) threaded, while the receiving threads are extra fine (1.00) threaded. If they don’t fit, don’t force them. Just go to your local hardware store and find (or ask for) extra-fine (1.00) threaded M6-35 bolts. Forcing a bolt with incorrectly-pitched threads will permanently damage the bed frame. Also use care when installing the bolts that attach the desk planks. The bolts are a millimeter or so too long and will cause a bump on the surface if you fasten them tightly. Either fasten them very gently or consider replacing them with shorter bolts. The included LED light strip blinks when the wire is jostled, even when ostensibly powered off, suggesting shoddy wiring. The remote did not include the required CR2025 battery, although the instructions indicate it should have. The final finished product is a bit wobbly, but steady enough to support a small child. I plan and suggest regularly checking the welds and hardware joints to make sure it doesn’t fall apart over time. Some threadlock on the screws is probably warranted. There are some clever design elements, including a hanger bar inside the largest storage space. My child loves the end result. I just hope it lasts! ... show more

  • Great quality solution for cramped quarters
Color: Black+natural Size: Full+staircase+Desk
The Kieki bed seems to exist under several brand names so shop around on Amazon and find the cheapest, as prices range considerably. In March 2026, we got it for $330 (shipping included). I saw the identical bed elsewhere for close to $500. The bed is quality-built and engineered. It does take some time to put it together but it was relatively frustration-free. Study the diagrams carefully noting hole alignments. It's easy to miss a few parts here and there--we left off three pieces from moving too carelessly through the diagrams but fortunately, we were able to add them--no backtracking necessary. The part where you align the slats is a bit tricky, so get some help on that step and the one where you put it up on its side. Otherwise, it's doable solo. I' would say the build is similar to the IKEA standard. Tools, and extra parts were provided. The description didn't mention but it came with a modest LED light strip for over the desk--nice, thanks! The stairs are built like a tank and sturdy feeling as is the bed itself. If you move around you hear a small amount of noise but that was equally true of the standard bed it replaced. The materials do not seem cheap at all. I am a 5'9" adult and I can sit comfortably at the desk with about 4 inches of headroom. We have standard 8ft celings and I can sit up in bed with maybe 6-8" headroom above that. All in all, I can readily recommend this bed and we are very happy with the bed and the new space we can now enjoy. ... show more

  • Unsafe!! Do not buy!!
Color: Black Size: Full+Staircase+Grid
If I could give this zero stars, I would. Do not waste your money. It’s a cheap piece of garbage. Sooooo much wobbling and cheap material. The assembly was overly complicated and confusing. It was also extremely creaky. Unsafe. Do not buy. Thankfully, I was able to get a refund.

  • The most Wonderful Loft Bed
Color: White Size: Twin+staircase
These beds are wonderful!!! They are very sturdy and the directions were pretty easy to follow. *Before purchasing be sure to measure from the baseboards against the wall on the floor over to the other direction. *Do not measure from the wall, if you have baseboards against the wall. *Make sure you look at all the holes on the poles and the pictures to know which direction the post need to go. *The issue I can see someone having is that the screws labeled (K) in the book are actually labeled (H) on the screw package. It does include 2 different sizes of Allen wrenches and a small Phillips screwdriver that worked well on putting the beds together, just be sure everything is tight. ***Word of Advice: Pages 32-34 are directions for building the shelf. When we built the first bed, we follow the instructions completely. However, when we built the 2nd bed, it was so much easier building the shelf on the floor and then screwing it onto the bed frame. We were building 2 beds for opposite sides of the room. As long as you don't mix up the directions for which bed you are building (A or B), you should do great. *You will need another person to help you build the bed or at least help hold parts of the bed frame. It does take about 2 hours to build, give or take some time. This also depending on how many children want turns to help build, (the steps are a great job for younger children to work on). ***These beds are pretty high up. I would not recommend these for toddlers at all. In my experienced opinion, these are made more for children 10 years and older, great for teens and apartments. We have 2 of these beds now in a small bedroom. We are so thankful that our children now have a place to play, read, and hang out. Before they had to fo most of this in our living room. They love them, and we love them. Highly recommend them and make sure to order the ones **shipped from Amazon.** The price difference evens out with what you would pay for shipping the same bed frame from another company. Also when you purchase something that is shipped from Amazon, you are guaranteed a replacement with the free shipping to send it back or get a full refund. I did lots of research and read through all of the reviews on these beds from other companies for several for months. This was the best ones. *The only complaint we have is that the 3rd step is a little shorter in depth, and would be more sensible and more comfortable if there was more to step on. ... show more

  • Horrid assembly, nice final product
Color: Black Size: Full+Staircase
This thing was absolutely dreadful to assemble, but the final product is nice. Now that I’m done with the hell that is putting it together I can enjoy the bed itself. There were no missing parts and the size is true to the description. Considering I spent 5 hours putting it together I’m guessing the supports are fine too, I mean I haven’t noticed myself falling from the bed in my sleep or anything yet. It’s worth the money in my opinion if you ignore how awful it is to build. ... show more
