  • AMAZING quality. AMAZING quality.
Color: Black+natural Size: Full
Not gonna lie, I was skeptical about this loft bed at first but it exceeded my expectations. I had to move my son and I back into my old room in my parents’ home after roofing issues forced us out of my own place and the space is spacious enough for maybe one bed but definitely not for two. My mother had also moved in an old queen mattress into the room but I owned a full sized mattress which I planned to leave to my son seeing as it is fairly new and this was my solution. I didn’t want to have to buy a whole new mattress for a twin sized loft bed so I went with the full size, which would also allow me to keep the current queen mattress already in the room AND my son could have our own full sized mattress as his own from now on, as well. It took me a few days to finish after a multitude of interruptions and responsibilities that had to be taken care of throughout the day but, summed up, I’d say it took about 3-4 hours altogether to assemble it by myself so it honestly wasn’t bad at all. One thing we like most about it is the use of space. The storage cubicles under the staircase are extremely useful (I use one as a nightstand for my bed underneath), the coat rack being the most useful, in my opinion, for my son’s school uniforms and coats. Also, the storage racks at the very bottom can also be used for shoes or even a few storage boxes. My son loved the staircase in general vs a ladder, and the fact that the loft has a shelf to serve as a nightstand. He likes the idea of placing a clock, a book, his wallet and even a picture frame at his bedside too so that’s a plus. I also like the staircase and the fact that I can fit the queen mattress underneath with room to spare (if placed vertically underneath the loft, and in the same position I think it may even fit a king size). I also love the support bar under the metal base bars but I would suggest supplying two (2) of these bars, JUST IN CASE. The slim base bars just seem as they want to bend with weight but they havent so far. I’m using heavy duty bungee cords to weave through the bars as extra support and I’m considering a sheet or two of set-sized plywood to place underneath the mattress, directly on the bed base bars, just as a precaution. My son is 120 lbs now and he’s considered average build, but his dads tall, average body but heavy boned so I’m just preparing. Even given all this, I haven’t noticed much shaking, and if I begin to notice any creaking or squeaking in the future, I’ll probably add cut, anti slip wrap between the screwed bars and pieces to try and solve that problem. Lastly, after reading the details and some reviews, I’d anticipated this would come in some rather large, extremely heavy boxes but it actually came in two long and long-ish boxes, the long one being slim and heavy, and the long-ish one being a bit wider and equally heavy, so it wasn’t as bad as I’d thought. Everything is labeled and individually wrapped, from the screws to each wood piece as shown in the pics of the instructions and hardware (there’s a lot but, don’t let it intimidate you). The time it takes to build is also reasonable. After the first hour I had finished assembling the two edge/side frames by myself. Then, after the second hour I had finished putting together the bed AND attached it to both the side frames I’d made right before. About an hour and a half later I finished building the staircase which has the most pieces, then finished off by tightening everything. From the weight of the pieces you can already tell this is sturdy so I definitely give this 5 stars for quality. Overall, we absolutely LOVED this and my son looks forward to sleeping “upstairs” from now on 😁👌 Highly recommend this! ... show more

  • Good value, sturdy and attractive
Color: Black+natural Size: Queen
The instructions are very clear, the screws come well organized, and assembly was long but mostly easy. You'll definitely need two adults at a few points, but I (44 y.o. woman) mostly put it together alone or with my 10 y.o. over the better part of a day. Looks great. The way the particleboard pieces are constructed ends up hiding all the connectors as opposed to having those little plastic disks that cover them on cheaper items. Because the bed can be assembled with the stairs on the left or the right, there are some extra, unused holes in the metal supports on either side, so there are metal disks to insert in those, but they blend rather well. We've had it about a month, and my kid loves it. Sturdy enough for me to be up there with her. Stairs are sturdy and railing doesn't wobble. I'm hoping I'll be able to find some places to leave it in medium sized pieces when it's time to move and not have to fully disassemble! ... show more

  • It suits our needs, the stairs are narrow!
Purchased 2 of these to maximize the functionality of my teen rooms. The build was long and tedious with just myself and not much easier with another person given the instructions are simply just pictures and can be hard to follow at times. Nevertheless, once it is put together, it was nice. The whole frame takes up space but it makes up for it by allowing my kids to have a desk, couch, and whatever else they want under it. The down fall is that it isn’t tall enough to walk under. I am 5’7 and it comes up to my shoulders. I can sit comfortably under it though so it’s ideal for anyone that is short. If you have teens or you are over 6ft, this probably is not the loft bed for you. Once it’s put together (took me 6 hours by myself, 5 with help), it is pretty cool. My son loves it and he is 5’9ish. The height is enough for him to sit under it fine and he still has room to completely sit up and not hit his head on the ceiling of his room. He also likes that there is a plug he can use on the shelving where he can place his phone and various things like ear buds on and plug them in over night. My daughter’s bed came with a problem with the rail to the stairs, seems it was spot welded where the frame screws into the end of the rail, that piece came off and we were unable to screw the rail on however, she is wide in the hips and that actually allowed her to get up the stairs easier. The stairs are NARROW not made for hips. Either way, this frame suits our needs and is stylish. The kids appreciate the function and commented that it doesn’t squeak or make any noise when they are moving around on top. I appreciate the weight limit as well, allowing them room to fluctuate as they get older. ... show more

  • Super cute and convenient Super cute and convenient
Color: Black+natural Size: Queen
Took my mechanic dad and boyfriend the whole day to build so be warned, easy, but tedious set up. Once done super cute, sturdy, doesn’t squeak, and comfy. Made my room a lot more spacious.

  • Just set it up and it took a while but was worth it
Color: Black+natural Size: Full
I just put this together and it went as smooth as possible with no mistakes... It took 5 hours. Normally that would be a negative but all the parts were there. They gave extra hardware and the instructions were an 8/10. It seems really solid so far. I'll update if something catastrophic happens but everything feels sturdy. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase. My advice if you are thinking of buying it. MEASURE. I eyeballed it and it turned out bigger than I thought. When putting it together, be very careful reading the instructions and look at the accurate graphics. There are a few steps where it could be easy to put a part on backwards. ... show more

  • MISLEADING PACKAGING!!! MISLEADING PACKAGING!!!
Color: Black+natural Size: Queen
Not only were the instructions a bit confusing, I did put the stairs on the left side. BUT, the frame is WAY TO BIG for my bed, and now it takes up most of my room, yes I did measure before I bought it. And yes the box did say it was for a queen mattress so I’m very confused as to why it’s so big.

  • BEST LOFT BED
Color: Black+natural Size: Full
We love this loft bed. The shelf up top is a perfect nightstand replacement. The bed is sturdy & does not wobble at all. The shelves under the stars are super nice for storage. It was relatively easy to put together for one person.
