I had tried this shoe on locally in a store but they did not have a size 7, only 7.5. So I had an idea of the fit but needed a smaller size. So I ordered a size 7 online. My package arrived faster than I expected. The fit was slightly tight in the width and top of foot, but I was able to remedy this by removing the provided insoles and inserting custom orthotic insoles that i wear with other shoes as well. Now they fit much better. I had a previous pair of Keens hiking boots that lasted me about three years before the soles came apart. I loved the width of those and the comfort. These are very similar but the top comes up higher and fit more snug to my ankle/lower leg which I love. This shoe hugs my mid foot more which I also like, and doesn't look like a boat on my foot. I have wide metatarsals that taper to a narrow heel, and very high arches, so it is hard for me to find a good fit. This is as close as I can get after trying on no less than seven different hiking boots recently. I will warn there is not a lot of air in these. This isn't a bad thing most of the year in NE Minnesota but I can see my feet getting hot in the dead of summer hiking. I LOVE the traction on these. They are very comfortable and nice looking. Would purchase again. I love that Keen's cater to wider feet.

They felt good when I first put them on, however, I got a blister on my right foot and also I had to file down a piece of material that was sticking in my ankle. My legs are getting better from pain in my calves. I sure hope it stops soon. I never have a problem with boots bothering my legs. They are waterproof 💦

Bought these for Alaskan hiking. Worn once and one of the eyelets tore. I was able to make them work for a few hikes but had to return as there was no way to fix them. They also were the only keens that have ever felt tight on the top of my foot. Not comfy right out of the box like they usually are.

I'm a Keen fan. My Keen trail shoes are very comfortable and I've had years of use from them. These Steens are sturdy and well made, the low profile ankle is good for those of us who are short and can't use the higher profile. They may be great for people with very narrow feet. I have narrow feet and need a wide toebox. I ordered a 1/2 size up to give more room for medium weight merino socks. Even with the extra 1/2 size, the both the shoe and toe box are much too tight and don't work for me.

I usually can wear a regular size 8 but this shoe is too narrow. Missed my return window. Hope it will stretch out somewhat. Feels durable otherwise.

These must be my fourth or fifth pair of Keens hiking boots. I hike 4 to 6 miles daily so the soles do wear out but they are well worth the money. I do replace their inner soles with a super feet inner sole because I do need more arch support but other than that the boots are perfect the first time you put them on. I highly recommend them. They do run on the small size so I like to get a lot of toe room and I get actually a whole size bigger. I normally wear a 7 1/2 sometimes an eight in a shoe but I buy at 8 1/2 hiking boot.
