Description

A waterproof take on the sporty oxford, with a leather-and-mesh mix for breathability and versatility. The cushioned footbed and supportive midsole combine for heel-to-toe comfort. CARE INSTRUCTIONs: if you're wearing your KEENs daily, they won't always be scuff and dirt-free. To treat day to day wear and tear, especially on lighter color leathers, we recommend using a leather cleaner and conditioner, found at most footwear dealers and/or shoe repair shops.

  • Great shoe
Size: 7.5 Color: Dark Brown/Black
Love these shoes. They fit perfectly. One reviewer gave only one star because they said the shoe is not wide. I have very wide feet and there is plenty of room in the width and the toe box. Actually this shoe would probably be too wide for someone who wears a medium width and is definitely too wide for a narrow foot. For me, they are great. They are comfortable, well made, and a sturdy shoe without looking big and bulky. ... show more

  • On my 3rd pair
Size: 9 Color: Dark Brown/Black
Perfect fit and comfort. Style is flattering to where it makes my size 9 feet look smaller. Waterproof feature is a nice plus. I get a lot of compliments on this 2 toned brown color (black - not so much).

  • Great quality & comfort
Size: 8.5 Color: Black/Magnet
These are the best shoes I've found for spending 9 hours a day on a concrete floor! They offer great support, are true to size, have a roomy footbed & are incredibly comfortable.

  • Great shoes, but turn my toes black
Size: 7.5 Color: Black/Magnet
The fit is excellent, for me. I have ingrown toenail problems and the toe box is wide enough so that I don't have any pressure on my toes any more. I can stand eight hours a day with no problems, the shoes are great and supportive. I have been wearing the shoes daily since November last year, so it's about three months. They are the most comfortable shoes I have worn in years. I LOVE THESE SHOES. Still I have to take off a star, because of the following problem: Sometimes the shoes turn my toes black. This has happened about a dozen times. I do not generally have sweaty feet. But now and then, my feet get a little warm, since I'm standing all day at work. I came home one day, took off my socks and shoes, and the tip of my right sock was black, and to my dismay my actual right big toe and second toe were black too. Something (dye, I suppose), is coming out of the shoe leather and into the sock, then through the sock to my toes. When this happens I have to scrub the black off with soap and water. It doesn't come off easily, either. There is always some left, that takes some time to wear away. This dye can't be good for the skin, should not be happening, and I'm not sure what I can do to fix this. I don't want to mess around with applying fixatives or sealants to the inside of my shoes. I hope Keen will offer some solution. Thanks for reading. ... show more

  • Just what I needed
I have foot problems. Plantar fasciitis. Morton's Neuroma. Previous bunion surgery. It has gotten to where my feet hurt all the time, which has lead to much less walking which has lead to more weight gain - which doesn't help the feet. I also have a somewhat narrow heel, which makes a proper fit more difficult. I very rarely buy shoes online for these reasons. I have tried several sneakers and running shoes (and cross-trainers, etc), but even styles and brands that used to work ok don't anymore. I did find some oxford-style shoes I liked, but they cost too much for me. The most comfortable shoes I have are Keen Newport sandals, but even here sandals don't work all winter long, and I needed something I could possibly wear to work. I wear a 10 in the sandals, but knew I would be wearing thick socks and so went with 10.5 (41 Euro). 10 might have been OK, but the 10.5 works well. They arrived Tuesday, and I wore them all through the holiday weekend, which included lots of walking and an impromptu hike in the wooded hills. Definite Plus - wider toe box and ability to snug up the laces around the middle of my foot. Toes and joints have enough room but my foot doesn't slide around. Good grippy soles. Tough enough construction to take some abuse. Sole flexible enough to not strain my foot when walking. Possible Minus - I found the inner sole comfortable and supportive, but a lot of other shoes I've tried had a softer, more squishy footbed. If you want that, you would have to change the footbed or add extra cushioning. After the hike, I ordered a second pair in black, for work. I work in an office but dress on the casual side. The black ones were delivered Sunday and I'm wearing them today, and the fit is exactly like the blue ones. (The color. btw - the dark is a very dark navy, the blue is subdued, and they looked great with jeans. They don't even look enormous, and at 10.5, that is a nice bonus). In short - love them, glad I took a chance and bought them. ... show more

  • Pros & Cons - Not for Long Shifts
I wear a 6.5 in just about every shoe, and these fit true to size. My very favorite thing about them is the huge toe box. I have what I can only describe as claustrophobic toes, and this toe box is seriously like Heaven! I work 10 to 13-hour shifts as a pharmacist (no sitting) and desperately needed more comfortable shoes. I have been wearing (the same) Asics Blur-33s for an embarrassingly long time, and every day that I work my feet, legs, and knees would be in terrible pain. I have many leg issues from birth (antiverted hips, plicae syndrome, and one leg 1/2" longer than the other - those together = pigeon toes, too), so I'm never expecting to be completely comfy after long hours on my feet. These shoes needed no breaking in really, and the first day they were great. My legs and feet felt relieved at long last. However, from the next wear forward they made my feet & ankles (mainly in my Achilles region) hurt worse than the old Asics. My legs still do not hurt after wearing these shoes, but the foot pain kicks in after 4-5 hours. By the end of the day I find myself leaning on the counter for support because the foot pain is unbearable. The ankle rubs a tiny bit funny, but that is probably due to my pigeon toes. Also, I sometimes would feel pressure on the top of my foot right where the shoe starts to slope upward (you can kind of see this in the pictures) - I have a VERY short (from sole to laces) foot, so this was strange to me. Needless to say I switched back to my Asics for my last shift and felt much better! I REALLY wanted to love this shoes. They aren't the prettiest things, but that toe box can't be beat & they seem so sturdy. I got them for super cheap so I will definitely keep them, but I am continuing my search for the perfect long-shift shoe. My physical therapist says I need a stability shoe, so I'm going to start there with a solid tennis shoe. ... show more
