Description

The Da Vinci globe bar was produced with no compromise on style and is a fine example of Italian craftsmanship. Based on a hand-drawn 18th century map, the Da Vinci bar globe is ideal for any environment and great as a centerpiece for any room. The 40cm diameter globe ball is sufficient to house at least 2 bottles (average 4) and approximately 9 glasses. Additional bottles can be stored on the unique lower base shelf decorated with a beautiful wind rose, perfectly harmonious with the Zodiac illustration around its equatorial line. "Nature is the source of all true knowledge. She has her own logic, her own laws, she has no effect without cause nor invention without necessity." (Leonardo da Vinci) Some assembly required. Please Note : glasses and bottles are not supplied with this bar globe. Some assembly required.

    • Great quality at a reasonable price
Color: Rust
Review Image by Melissa Merhege
This beautiful item is exactly as described and the quality is better than expected. The bar globe is a conversation piece and fits perfectly in small corners. It looks more expensive than the price and displays bottles and glassware in a stylish manner. I would not hesitate to buy this bar again and will be sending one to a family member as a gift! ... show more

    • Good quality, looks nice in our dining room!
Color: Rust
This is an early Father's Day gift for my husband, and he loves it! It seems sturdy, and gives our dining room a more formal look. Very happy with the purchase. The writing on the globe is written in Latin, which is perfect, since much of our house is decorated in Old World decor.

    • It’s nice but cheaply made
Color: Rust
For the price I wasn’t impressed with the material it was made with. Lots of particle board. It looks cool though.

    • Everything I Wanted
Color: Rust
No great significance in the purchase. I always thought that it was wonderfully old money to have the globe bar. When I received a home office stipend, I decided to blow it on something frivolous and fun. It's exactly as advertised and very simple to assemble. There are some space constraints depending on the bottle and glassware, but I have a variety of both and had no problem fully stocking it with the proper alcohol and glasses. It's kitschy fun but not a person who's seen it doesn't like it and believe it's fun. Pretty good craftsmanship for the price. Avoid the cheaper ones and go for this. Wait, it's Friday? Time to crack open the globe!!! ... show more
