The Lansing Mid Height Steel Toe Waterproof Work Boots for men are ready for overtime. Asymmetrical steel toes improve the fit, and a TPU stability shank adds support. Reflective webbing and a slip-resistant sole amp up the safety factor. Weighing 23.15 oz / 656 g (per boot), made with durable, waterproof leather and featuring a moisture-wicking lining. These boots are built for off KEEN's traditional wider footwear form. KEEN Utility products offer removable insoles. These dependable work boots are great for light-duty work in construction, landscaping, and warehouse distribution. After wearing this boot pretty regularly for about 2 weeks now I can say it's definitely a lot more comfortable than most work boots I can find. Usually I have a hard time finding my size (10 1/2 wide) and most work boots squish my toes. I have a hard time keeping my feet still during the day and I have a neurologic condition which makes my toes become fatigued and I want to bend them. In these boots I'm able to bend my toes regularly as if I were wearing a pair of shoes. I find that the steel toes are very strong, and the bottom plates keep me very well supported. I find ease and climbing ladders, standing on my toes, or simply walking. I do believe that they are decently waterproof, as I have yet to experience any kind of water leaks when standing in snow or wet material up to my ankle. I also have an issue with my feet stinking, and I have not noticed that yet with these boots. All in all I would say these are my favorite pair of boots I've purchased. The one and only thing that could make them any better, is if they came in multiple colors. I could only find two available on Amazon. And while I really do like the way they look, I would prefer them a little better if they were in a dark brown or dark gray. ... show more

I like the combination of black leather with mesh venting. My previous work boots are full leather Herman Survivors Dover. The fit is good with room in the toe box. The boots feel a little flat inside. I added a 3/4 insert for supplemental arch support. The rubber coating at the toe and heel should prove rugged during work in the warehouse with all the concrete floors and steel ladders. I expect a couple years service. ... show more

Overall, these have been very comfortable boots. They keep my feet dry and warm year round which is good for me. It's been almost a year and I've had to reattach the tread to the bottoms and the shoelaces have busted. They still repel water even in Louisiana weather. They do not like ice or slick surfaces. To sum it up, if you typically beat on your feet or are hard on shoes, these are great in a pinch. If you're a weekend warrior or a side job type person, these are perfect for ya. These are by far the most comfortable steeltoe work boots I've ever owned. They're lightweight and feel 'bouncy', if that makes sense. The insole is what it is I guess. I have a high arc, so most stock insoles don't tend to do me any good, but that's not the boots fault. I highly recommend these.
