  • Quality lasting boots
Size: 12 Color: Slate Black/Slate Black
These boots are some of the longest lasting and more comfortable boots I've owned. This is my third pair that I've owned although the first pair was different. I've had a problem with all of the pairs the tongue not lining up, the hooks for the shoe laces being to tight and fragile. The tongue issue is a bit uncomfortable for me but not a big deal. The hooks where you have to lace it up is a major problem with me. I can't stand sitting and fiddling for a lot longer than what it should take to tie your shoe strings. They are so tight that you have to push down in certain areas and pull extremely hard in order for them to go through the hooks. On my last pair of boots I tried prying the hook up to free the tension on it and the metal just broke so beware of this. ... show more

  • . A little bit heavy but well built. Best for the price
Size: 9.5 Color: Chesnut/Black
A bit heavy but worth the fit. Feel great after all day in dirt or concrete.

  • Very warm boots in the winter
Size: 12 Wide Color: Chesnut/Black
Use these for working out in the cold . On the lake in Chicago. You won’t find a warmer work boot

  • Not bad
Size: 10.5 Wide Color: Slate Black/Slate Black
I am very picky with my work boots. These seemed to fit well, but just didn’t work for me.

  • Solid pair of boots
Size: 9 Color: Slate Black/Slate Black
I bought these a couple months ago and have been wearing them at a job, working six days a week, ten hour days on a concrete slab. But I did have to replace the insoles with some Dr Scholl’s

  • Order wide
Size: 12 Color: Slate Black/Slate Black
The media could not be loaded. The company sent me 12 wide; At first I was Mad (BUT) then I put 1 inch padding(construction foot pad), The space made a super comfortable foot bed for my feet. I am so glad the company did not send 12 regular. Without the padding the boot is very rigid and would definitely bug the foot. I personally love my boots< I feel very secure with them on! ... show more

  • My first (of many) pair of Keens
Size: 10.5 Color: Dark Earth/Dark Earth
Let me preface this review by summing up the rest of the review in three words: These. Things. Rock! I purchased a size 10.5 pair of these Friday, May 8th of this year and selected Saturday delivery, for no other reason than I was excited to get them. They arrived first thing the next morning and I immediately tried them on. I made a trip to Cabela's a week before to try on several pairs of different boots and this was the pair I settled on because they were amazingly comfortable and had awesome amounts of support. They fit just as expected, both at Cabela's and in my living room. My previous pair of steel toes were 6" boots and I believe these are 8", so it took a bit if shoelace adjustment for me to find a comfort zone that allowed me to get the full range of motion in my ankle due to the higher boot height. The good thing is that the top three sets of shoelace eyelets let you almost "lock" the lace in place - meaning you could leave the laces over your foot as loose as you like, tighten the upper ankle laces as tight as you like (or vice versa and anywhere in between) and it'll stay that way! There was a small break in period due to the stiffer, taller uppers, but after about a week of constant wear, I didn't notice any discomfort. I recently sprained my ankle so the extra support is welcome at the moment. I work 6 days a week and I'm on my feet for anywhere between 8-10 hours each day and I feel like I have SO much more energy left at the end of the day with these boots than with my previous set of Timberland Pro's. To be fair to Timberland, my old pair is about one or two years old now and saw the same 6 day work weeks as these boots will. But I don't remember my Tims EVER being this cozy. I work as an industrial/mechanic/research and development tech type position and I'm always climbing, kneeling, squatting, balancing on ledges, crawling around, and even using my steel toes as hammers from time to time. These things have held up perfectly so far (it's only been two weeks). The OTHER reason I purchased this particular pair of work boots was because I was looking for an aggressive tread pattern so that I could also use them as a pair of heavy duty hiking boots. When I tried them on at Cabela's, the tread pattern appeared far beyond any of the others in off-road traction (is this a tire review or ...?) This past Memorial Day weekend (God Bless our Fallen Heroes), I took them camping/hiking for the first time. Our campsite was along a river bank, up a steep, loose dirt hill. Both descending and ascending the hill, I was BLOWN AWAY by how much grip these Keens had!! The incline was beyond 45 degrees, probably closer to 50-ish, and aside from hauling my 200 lb self up a 100% grade, it was a breeze! Even with my sprained ankle at about 80% healed, I could gingerly make it up and down the hill without a single slip. And once we made it down to the river to fill up our water bottles, I decided to try out how waterproof they are. Standing in ankle deep water, my socks were bone dry. After about 3 or 4 minutes of standing in the river, I thought I had a leak, because my feet started to cool off, but it was just temperature of the river water finally making it through the boot. Not a drop made it through! I am VERY VERY pleased with the performance of this boot. I'm not sure I could ask for a better performing boot. The reason I only gave it four stars was because of the looks. They are a bit clunky looking, even for a pair of steel-toed work boots. I'm not a huge fan of the rubber over-toe protection, but I admit this will add more shoe protection and essentially longer life to the shoes. Also, my pair had some extra glue seeping out behind said rubber over-toe, which was a bit unsightly, but again, I'd rather have a little extra glue to make sure the toe will last than have not enough glue and have them fall apart. All in all, these boots are heavenly. I'm not a trend-setter anyways, so the aesthetics of the boot don't bother me very much, especially with the performance of these things. My recommendation? BUY BUY BUY. Thanks Keen! I'll be seeing you again soon! ... show more

  • Great boot and comfortable.
Size: 8.5 Color: Slate Black/Slate Black
The boot is very well made. Strong and sturdy shoe laces, comfortable and made very well. I normally wear an 8.5 but had to return and get an 8.
