The media could not be loaded. I wear them daily in over 110° weather and they take the abuse and smile. I pair them with Smartwool Merino socks and honestly, you would be hard pressed to find a better work team. Only thing I want to see is Keen make a minimalist boot where the heel is 5mm to 8mm off of the ground. I need that extra stability because I can go from carrying books, to a shank and sprint in a Mississippi minute. A high polypropylene heel and sole will give unless the boot is tied tight. In 115° weather, a loose boot is better. The minimalist design would help in that area. Especially work environments that call for "boots" rather than shoes. IMHO ... show more

These puppies are fairly light with great traction. They are ventilated, good for hot weather but they do take in fine sand, not to an excess though. I usually wear a wide shoe, but these accommodate my EE width foot just right.

I have very picky feet. These shoes breathe pretty well. I have sweaty stinky feet and these shoes work pretty well. I tried the water proof version of these , DId not work for me. The sole is medium stiffness so you don't feel every tiny rock you step on yet not so stiff that scrambling over boulders and light climbing is good. I have wide toe box , I did NOT have to order WIDE and is just fine. Solomon shoes made my feet hurt and very narrow, Merrell vented shoes are too soft soled (just for reference), my feet do not hurt in Keen. I have NOT had any problems with the tread lugs coming lose so far on this model. I have had problems on the voyageur model, I still loved those shoes. ... show more
