As a guy with ,well not a wide foot, but with long toes and a large big toe on each foot I have to be careful with shoes and boots that taper at the tip or buy a size larger to get the room. Keen seems to understand that a large and protected toebox makes for happy feet. I bought this pair without having tried one on in a store, or having owned this model just on the strength of having owned more that 6 different Keen products from boots to sandals. I did this two weeks before a European vacation where I was going to walk at least 10 to 15 thousand steps a day. I quickly broke them in about 15 miles walking and wore them daily on my trip. I purchased these an an alternate to my Keen Vent shoe. It looks a bit smaller than the Vent but still fits the same. Keene offers a wider toe box in there shoes--exactly what I need.
