First, i should say i have over 100 plants and several grow lights. These lights are amazing. They literally kept my plants alive over the winter. The timer function made it so easy as well. I love how you can move the tripod to go up or down, making it short or tall. The arms are adjustable and bend so you can customize it to your plant set up. So I was very disappointed when recently 2 of the bulbs stopped working. I had had this for 10 months with no issues. But i knew i was out of my six month return window. So i contacted the company to see if they sold replacement bulbs. To my surprise, a few days later a brand new light arrived. It was not just the bulb, the entire light. It’s almost time to bring all my plants inside for the winter so I am extremely pleased. I never expected them to do that! This is a great light. I love that you can change different color settings. The timer was really nice. It's like you set it and forget it. You don't need to remember to turn the light off and on. The tripod stand is sturdy at low height setting but it becomes unstable at the tallest setting. I have mine on the carpet so that could also be causing it to be unstable. It was an easy fix. I just zipped tied it to the plant stand. The lights have a flexible neck so you can position the lights to shine where you want it. I only gave it four stars because mine died at about 11 months. I was really bummed out when it died. I'm not sure if it's the lights or the unit itself. The power button has a blue flashing light, but pressing the button does nothing. I've ordered two stands and then one more ad it keep my plants full of life even at the basement. It has a timer and different settings for the lights. I'm growing an avocado tree!     • Light switch failing after only 9 months. UPDATE- Bought 2 more and both were defective

Worked fine for 9 months, then suddenly the control switch's on button started blinking and I cannot get it to turn on. We've always had it set up for 12 hour light, and it's worked very well, until recently. I tried unplugging it to let it reset, and that worked one time. After one day, it's back to not working and the blue 'on' light is blinking. Apparently the control switch isn't as good as the rest of the system. I'm going to contact the seller to see if they could send me a new swtich. These lights will last for years and years. So should the control switch. Ok, I ordered another one and it was defective. The white lights worked but no blue or red regardless of what I tried on either the switch or the remote. So I returned it for a refund, then ordered another one hoping I just got a lemon. The second (actually third) light arrived today and it was defective, too. Same as the previous light, the white lights worked but the reds and blues would not come on, if they were even wired. When I got on the return page I saw something about a phone app (???), which I didn't need for our first one, and wouldn't have bought it if I knew I needed to use that. But there is nothing in the meager manual that comes with them about any app. When I tried to look it up on Google play, it's impossible to find due to there being no brand name anywhere on the light, box or so-called manual. I'm changing my previous 2 stars to 1. This is chinese junk. Being an electrical item, maybe if it were packaged for shipping instead of sending it in it's thin cardboard box it might arrive undamaged. Or maybe it left the factory defective. Whatever, cheap or not, the first one lasted less than a year, and the second and third lights didn't work as stated. I won't buy another one, that's for sure. ... show more

I got this for my mom when she moved into an apartment and still wanted to have her garden. They work really well for indoor plants that need a little extra support, especially in lower light areas. The five adjustable heads make it easy to position the light exactly where it’s needed. The brightness settings give a good amount said flexibility and the timer feature is convenient and helps keep things consistent. Most importantly for us . The lights are bright without getting overly hot so it feels safer. It works well for shelves, desks, or small indoor plant setups. Amazing plant light!! Covers all my indoor plants. Helps with supplemental light during the winter. Lots of my plants are happily flowering and growing under this light. I’ve had it for a year and a half now and it still works as well as the day I got it and set it up. Easy set up, love that it has a remote. My only qualm is that you can’t set a daily timer to have it run for certain hours each day, I have to turn it on and off every day.
