This thing is AWESOME. I got it during winter because I was afraid of some of my more fragile plants having issues, and this did not disappoint at all. It was my first grow light, and it has tons of settings which is awesome. It's very bright (my parents actually joke about sometimes seeing a pink glow from my house when they drive by now), definitely helps promote new growth. First, i should say i have over 100 plants and several grow lights. These lights are amazing. They literally kept my plants alive over the winter. The timer function made it so easy as well. I love how you can move the tripod to go up or down, making it short or tall. The arms are adjustable and bend so you can customize it to your plant set up. So I was very disappointed when recently 2 of the bulbs stopped working. I had had this for 10 months with no issues. But i knew i was out of my six month return window. So i contacted the company to see if they sold replacement bulbs. To my surprise, a few days later a brand new light arrived. It was not just the bulb, the entire light. It’s almost time to bring all my plants inside for the winter so I am extremely pleased. I never expected them to do that! These plant lights are awesome, my trailing plants love them. I just bought another lamp. Heads up, they only last 2 1/2 to 3 years. But given the cost I think it's worth it.

Wow this is very bright and covers multiple plants at once. Great price. Easy to use, flexible, does good job of giving the light need to the plants, can adjust brightness, set timers . Set up and leave it set on timer. No worries if forget to turn it on or off. Would purchase again

    • Light switch failing after only 9 months. UPDATE- Bought 2 more and both were defective

Worked fine for 9 months, then suddenly the control switch's on button started blinking and I cannot get it to turn on. We've always had it set up for 12 hour light, and it's worked very well, until recently. I tried unplugging it to let it reset, and that worked one time. After one day, it's back to not working and the blue 'on' light is blinking. Apparently the control switch isn't as good as the rest of the system. I'm going to contact the seller to see if they could send me a new swtich. These lights will last for years and years. So should the control switch. Ok, I ordered another one and it was defective. The white lights worked but no blue or red regardless of what I tried on either the switch or the remote. So I returned it for a refund, then ordered another one hoping I just got a lemon. The second (actually third) light arrived today and it was defective, too. Same as the previous light, the white lights worked but the reds and blues would not come on, if they were even wired. When I got on the return page I saw something about a phone app (???), which I didn't need for our first one, and wouldn't have bought it if I knew I needed to use that. But there is nothing in the meager manual that comes with them about any app. When I tried to look it up on Google play, it's impossible to find due to there being no brand name anywhere on the light, box or so-called manual. I'm changing my previous 2 stars to 1. This is chinese junk. Being an electrical item, maybe if it were packaged for shipping instead of sending it in it's thin cardboard box it might arrive undamaged. Or maybe it left the factory defective. Whatever, cheap or not, the first one lasted less than a year, and the second and third lights didn't work as stated. I won't buy another one, that's for sure. ... show more

I've ordered two stands and then one more ad it keep my plants full of life even at the basement. It has a timer and different settings for the lights. I'm growing an avocado tree! One year strong in the last picture and it keeps looking up for the red light. I really like them. Worth each penny! Cheap power adapter that gets hot (highly recommend after market adapter or plugging straight into USB port) 2. For the price - quality could be a little better on electrical side of things. ( Mine have been fine so far). 3. Hard to get arms to sit lights level so it mimics straight down sunlight. Overall, dont hesitate to buy. If you have an issue seller or Amazon will make it right.
