The reviewer stating they got a defective unit might be wrong, but I definitely didn't think so for the solid ten minutes it took me to put this together. Here's the trick I finally discovered: angle the attachments with the top towards you as you slide them on the base. It seems weird but they will go on that way. Okay, down to business: as a controller holder and such this works. But it feels like something you'd buy for $5 at the dollar store, not a $20 product. It's very thin plastic, the headphones holder feels like it might snap off when I rotate it, and there's no weight to it without controllers on it. Also the included screwdriver stripped the screws, so that was... cool. My husband does like this and it does remove clutter from a table but I think it's priced too high for what it is, unfortunately. And assembly was a headache and a half. It needs some rethinking to be worth $20.
