    • Included screws are wrong length!
After spending quite a bit of time installing a new ceiling box, I finally came to the part where I install the fixture - and the screws that came with it aren’t long enough! Very frustrating. The the length is insufficient to reach from the plate through the fixture base to be fastened. What a hassle! I had to disconnect all the wiring, and now I’m off to the hardware store to spend MORE money to get screws the correct length. ... show more

The design of the inner-workings made for a very difficult and frustrating install. Additionally, wire nuts were not included so you’ll need to have those on hand. There is 1 set of wires for each of the 4 lights (instead of having it all through 1 set of wires like most fixtures with multiple bulbs) so it becomes a lot of wire to twist together and firmly secure. Now that it’s up, it looks beautiful and I really like it, but I would not buy it again simply because of how frustrating it was to install. My husband and I have installed many lights in the past but this one was so difficult, we spent far too much time on it and kept having to walk away and come back to it. ... show more

    • Looks decent once hung, Modo Lighting has excellent customer service.
This fixture is cheaply made, hate to say it. And poorly packaged for shipping. I had to send it back twice for damaged parts. It does not come with proper hardware for installation, so prepare yourself for a trip to your local home improvement store, and there are no instructions (which is fine, as long as you know how to install a basic light fixture). Its only saving grace is that it looks cute once you finally get it hung. Edited to add: I increased a star for Modo Lighting’s customer service. I reached out to them through amazon to see if I could get a replacement part instead of having to send the whole thing back and order it again, and they were kind enough to send me exactly what I needed for free. The fixture is beautiful, spent 6 hours installing. After all the work , globes were different. Will be returning.

The light went up easy and is exactly what we were looking for in my son's room. Unfortunately, he busted a globe accidently while screwing around and I had to contact Modo Lighting to see about buying a replacement. They responded quickly and offered to send me a new one free of charge. I was surprised and and humbled by this considerate offer as this was not their fault. I also bought some window curtain rods from them that match this fixture's gold finish fabulously (if you are in need of some). They are great, very sturdy and nice eye candy. This is a great light for the price. Great size and works good. Only thing is the glass globes are very fragile. Put it together with LED bulbs and don't plan to take it apart again because they would be easy to break.
