My experience of this camping tent: - Large space: we are able to fit two full-sized air mattress, and there is still have space for bags. - Super easy to setup or breakdown! - Frame is very stable: there are very strong aluminum poles to support the frame. - Airflow is good. Many screen windows in the interior tent, the rainfly also provide two large windows with flaps. - Works well in raining day. It protects us good in raining day. - One pair supported poles are included, which could make a sunshade when you support the front door. This family camping tent deserves 5 stars! ... show more

Review about 6-8 person tent. New to camping and was getting tired of renting tents so I bought this bc of the dimensions, mesh, and style. Looked very “airy” with all the mesh walls which is what I was looking for in a summer tent. Used it for the first time 4th of July weekend and it spacious for 2 + dog (boyfriend is 6’4), tight for 4 adults and impossible to fit 6 people comfortably inside this tent with any type of belongings. Collected a ton of moisture on the first night so we started to sleep with mesh windows unzipped. “Rip stop fabric” Used it again for 10 days in Aug and when we put it up we noticed tiny holes throughout the tent. The description provided on Amazon and the Kazoo website went on and on about the “Rip stop fabric” which was another one of the reasons I selected this tent and it clearly didn’t hold up. We made sure to protect the exterior with tent repellent (Sawyer Permethrin) too and the fabric still didn’t hold up to bug bites. Plastic mullet broke on day 1, no surprise there, so make sure to take a real hammer with you and not depend on what comes with the tent. “Zipper pulls” were UNRELIABLE. Came off on day 1! It was really infuriating getting in and out this tent. Now I have to replace all the zipper pulls bc of the poor construction. Not sure what to expect for a $200 tent since im new to the camping world but disappointed in what $200 got me. Would return it but it’s been over 30 days. Tried contacting Kazoo directly and haven’t heard back. Love the look and style of this tent! We’ve gotten so many compliments! Sad that the quality is so poor. Was hoping that I could some how make it work but overall disappointed in Kazoo. ... show more

for the price (picked one up gently used via 'Amazon Warehouse'), it's a keeper! tent is plenty roomy for two incldg. inflatable mattress & bags of 'stuff'. cloth zipper tabs pull off easily though & no way to vent the two "windows" from INSIDE the tent but overall, we love it so far. it's relatively tallish too (5' 10" person can almost stand up straight inside) which is nice but the best part is the set-up/ break-down which is ridiculously fast, easy-as-pie & takes all of maybe 2-5 minutes from start to finish (a feature we absolutely love). have used it 3x's since purchasing a couple months ago & only endured one rain storm/ inclement weather but it functioned flawlessly in terms of waterproofing. in terms of value, we feel like we 'stole' this tent. the "doors" are huge too (2). if you're a moderate-to-fairly-frequent tent camper, this Kazoo won't disappoint for middle aged folks like us (or younger); ours is the 4-person version (FYI). have never tried the vestibule canopy though as ours came missing a couple extensions (bummer). overall, we're extremely pleased & don't regret the purchase one bit; would recommend w/ out hesitation if you're a value-oriented 'camper' (pun intended). ... show more

Received the tent a few days ago. I tested it on my yard. It is very easy to pitch, much easier than I expected. I did it all by myself! The material of the tent looks very sturdy. No strange pastic odor, which my kids hate. It is dual layered. The outer layer is water resistant which is necessary for any unexpected weather conditions. It can also be removed during a good/warm night for better ventilation. My whole family loves camping. This tent is gonna be perfect for summer time car camping. ... show more

Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This tent is easy to set up because of the way the supports are built into the tent itself. I was able to set up the main tent by myself in a little over a minute and about two minutes to put the tarp on. This didn't include staking the tent to the ground or getting it out of the bag. A shorter man might not have been tall enough to do it by himself, but I'm sure that my wife and daughter could have managed it together. The convenience in setup comes at the cost of weight and bulk. This doesn't matter if your car is big enough for you and the kids and all of the stuff for a weekend camping trip. The tent has enough room for two adults. Note, as above, that I'm rather tall. The bottom shell felt a bit thin but should be enough to keep out the dew. This tent should be suitable for casual campers, who view convenience as more important than durability or weight. Overall, we are happy with this product. ... show more
