  • Pleasantly Surprised - Great Tent
I've been tent camping my entire life and have a lot of experience with a lot of tents. Everything from high end backpacking tents to more bargain basement models. For the price, I was kind of expecting this tent to fall into the "meh" category. However - I'm very pleasantly surprised. The quality of this tent seems comparable with other higher end, name brand tents I've used. Clip system poles, waterproofed seams, rainfly clip buckles. Setup is quite simple and straight forward. The large vestibule is well sized and an awesome feature - perfect for stashing gear or the dog. The other side of the tent also has a tiny rainfly covered area (about 6 inches) if you stake out the fly, which isn't a ton - but is enough to stash a pair of muddy boots there without bringing them into the tent. We got this as our family car camping tent (two adults, two young children). The full rainfly on this tent did an admirable job of helping keep the interior of the tent reasonable even when temperatures dropped close to freezing overnight. Unexpectedly thoughtful details include: a small plastic mallet as part of the tent kit, quality metal t-bar stakes with fluorescent cord already attached to the top, a storage bag that holds all the pieces (and was not a horrible nightmare to get the tent back into!), and the poles to turn the rain fly door into the sunshade are also included in the kit. A couple "less than ideal" things to be aware of (but at this price point - these are minor!): The vents in the middle of the rainfly can only be opened / closed from the outside. Which is kind of a pain if you're in a situation where you want the vents open when you go to sleep, but want to close them if you wake up cold partway through the night. There are two mesh pockets in the tent. But no "gear attic" net; and no attachment points to add one. Does not come with a tent footprint. (We simply purchased a tarp to go under it.) Overall - we are very pleased with this purchase. At this price point for a 4 person tent - don't hesitate. You won't regret this. I promise: I am a real person, a real mom, real camper and I did not receive any kind of payment or compensation for this review. I'm just pleasantly surprised to have received a tent that was better than I expected for this price. ... show more

  • It fits inside a two door Jeep It fits inside a two door Jeep
Color: 4P Green
Bought this tent in 2021 and finally I was able to use it. The pros are easy to setup it has good amount of space for solo camping with a cot, table and buddy heater and in the cold i was comfortable with the buddy heater. It was good in windy conditions it only sprinkled during the night and morning I didn’t see no leaks . The cons the bag it came with the handle broke but not a big deal for me. It came with some stakes not worth using so get some steel stakes. ... show more

  • Perfect Size with Big Tent Features Perfect Size with Big Tent Features
Color: 4P Green
I have been camping in various forms my entire life (30+ years) and had been searching for a new car camping tent for a year with a specific set of features I wanted in my next tent. Including: - Full coverage fly - Isn't an obnoxious color (I got green). - Integrated vestibule - Big enough that I can (nearly) stand but not a giant family tent so no larger than a 4 person tent (which let's all admit, comfortable tent capacity is half of whatever it says. It's just me and the dog anyway.) - And of course, reasonably priced so wouldn't need a loan to afford it. Enter KAZOO. This was the first time I had heard of the brand so I was a bit skeptical of the quality and features for the price of the tent but I cannot say how impressed I was when I first set it up (in my friend's living room since it was February in Wisconsin) and when I subsequently used it for a week-long camping trip as well as a few long weekends and would definitely recommend this tent to both new and veteran campers. Final thoughts on this tent... - I wish it was just a bit longer. I sleep on a low cot (~5" high) and once my sleeping bag was out, it was touching both the front and back of the tent, being tall meant I was also touching the sides. - The included stake hammer, repair kit and extra guylines were a nice bonus, the stuff sack is nicely designed making setup and takedown easy (and without the struggle of a bag that is barely big enough). - I was skeptical about the attached front entrance mat (will it put too much tension on the floor seam or door?) but had no issues and it was effective at keeping state park sand out of the tent. I added some elastic cording to the stake points on the mat to reduce tension. - The doors don't have a zipper flap to prevent water from coming in the zipper. Because of the vestibule, I didn't expect this to be an issue but the back was tied out on a rainy, slightly windy day and where the rain hit the door it could seep in at the zipper. Due to the tight fit of my sleeping bag, it acted as a wick drawing water for a damp evening. - I love the fly windows that provide additional ventilation and lighting (just remember to close 'em up if the weather looks iffy or if you're changing in a less covered area, you can't close them from the inside so be aware of your surroundings). - The included vestibule poles felt sturdy and weren't tethered together so you can choose the angle of the awning but I wish I got two sets to tie out both the front and back. - The stakes feel like nice quality, it's the newer style that doesn't have the classic hook but I didn't have any issues with the tent coming unhooked or them pulling from the ground. The neon cord makes them easy to find too. - I would recommend picking up some sort of heavy-duty drop cloth or tarp to protect the bottom. It's made out of the same material as the rest of the tent (which I prefer over the rough tarp style) so an extra layer of protection from rocks, sticks, and water never hurts. Regardless of the few downsides, I don't think I could have found a tent that checked off my wishlist so perfectly. We'll see how it fairs over time but I'm optimistic it'll be here to stay for some time (remember: good tent care is key). Now I'm debating picking up the cabin-style, Saturn 6P, to use when camping with family/friends and will be watching to see what other products KAZOO develops in the future. ... show more

  • Great Tent for Car Camping/Glamping Great Tent for Car Camping/Glamping
Color: 4P Blue
Was very easy to setup with 2 people. Great tent for the price. No issues with the quality of the materials and functionality of the equipment. It's great for 2 people and 2 dogs (70 lbs & 22 lbs). Held up in the rain on a trip to the rockies for 2 weeks. The rain was really heavy and we had absolutely no issues with moisture, typical condensation on the inside caused an issue with getting the zippers opened in the morning, not too big a deal. We used a blue tarp for a footprint. Went through high winds as well and held up though it sounded like a rocket was taking off, even the dogs were a bit sketched out, though the wind didn't come through into the tent really. Nights were around 32 degrees. ... show more

  • Spacious tent with easy set up
Color: 4P Blue
By far my most favorite tent I’ve owned! The setup took less than two minutes with two people. It’s super spacious on the inside and I love the extra room and coverage you get with the “patio” setup on the outside. We got hit by a thunderstorm the first time we used it and not only did it stay standing with the wind, but no water got anywhere inside the tent. Completely waterproof. There’s lots of windows for ventilation and the rain cover is really easy to put up and take down. Personally a big fan of the bright bold colors and got the blue - made it super easy to find in our dispersed camping sight. 10/10 tent. A phenomenal deal for what you spend! ... show more

  • Great tent! Great tent!
We used this tent for the first time a couple weeks ago. Set up was easy. It took just a couple of minutes. The tent looks great and was very comfortable. Our last night of camping, we had winds up around 30 mph or so. The tent seemed to be holding up very well and we were even more impressed. It wasn't until the morning where we noticed that one of the rods broke and that it had ripped the fly. Aside from that, I would recommend this tent to anyone. ... show more

  • Budget friendly Budget friendly
Color: 4P Blue
As an avid outdoorsman who has spent his whole life camping and in the woods I can say I have had some experience with all sorts of different tents on the market from cheap Walmart tents to top of the line ultralight tents. This tent I bought on a whim because my wife wanted something a little bigger for our big summer trip. I didn’t wanna spend a load of money on a tent so I opted to buy the Kazoo Uranius 4 person tent. This served as our home for our 11 day journey In Shenendoah National Park and the Blue Ridge Mountains. And I will say that I have absolutely no complaints about the tent. It held up in strong storm winds and took 2 days of heavy rain like a champ. It fit me and my wife comfortably on a full size air mattress including gear. Not to mention the room in the vestibule where we stored our boots and some other miscellaneous gear. It has multiple guy lines to keep you secure on those windy days. We didn’t even get a chance to secure them all at one campsite because of the rocky terrain and the tent still help up with no issues in the wind. It’s nice and tall but not tall enough to stand up fully. I’m 5 ft 10 and could change comfortably. It comes with a big bag so rolling your tent back up isn’t an issue unlike every other tent out there that struggles to fit in the bag. The poles are not the most heavy duty out there but they definitely didn’t skimp out on it. They are perfect for the tent. Now I did say I didn’t have any complaints because the tent has been great but there are some things that are a little inconvenient. 1. There isn’t a nice floor print to the tent. It’s made of the same material as the tent. We used a tarp as the floor print and it worked great. The lack of a good floorprint is what makes it easy to fold back up so I’m all about it. 2. The vestibule does not reach all the way to the ground. Not an issue because everything will still stay dry unless you get a real nasty storm. Again never had a problem 3. It does take a little time to set up due to all the guy lines that need to be secured. If you’re looking for a quick pop up shelter then this isn’t for you. Overall I’d recommend this tent to anyone looking for one that is budget friendly and good quality. It will last a long time if properly cared for. This is perfect for the weekend warrior who goes out a few times a year. if you’re a bougie camper and want everything to be perfect then this tent is not for you. Give this tent a try and you won’t be disappointed! ... show more

  • Great tent! Great tent!
This 3 season tent served us well. It accommodated one adult and one child sleeping on cots comfortably. Another adult could fit well too. The vestibule creates a separate room for gear. I could have added a camping chair to sit in while taking on and off our shoes. I could not figure out how to raise the canopy. I put the cover on because, after our last camping trip with a different tent, we couldn't last through a windy night and wanted a different result this trip. We experienced 20 mph winds on the first night and this tent did an excellent job. Had it not been for the howling of the wind, I would not have known it was windy. With the cover, it can get hot inside the tent on a sunny and warm day. By opening the windows on each side it allowed for a nice cross breeze. I am 5'9" and could not stand comfortably, but it was a worthwhile sacrifice for a secure and wind resistant tent. The outer door zipper got stuck and the zipper misaligned, but I was able to fix it and there is a second zipper at rear entryway if it stuck again. At night when temperatures dropped into the 40s, it was cold in the tent, but we stayed warm with nylon Coleman sleeping bags that have a pull string hood. We also lined our sleeping bags with a flannel and jersey flat sheet and a comforter outside of and ontop of the sleeping bags. We also slept in sweats with a skull cap, socks and toe warmers. It kept us cozy. We arrived at the campsite 30 minutes before sundown. We had the tent up before sunset and moved our gear in the dark. The tent was easy to set up. The guys are adjustable and also allowed me to create my own secure knotting. I like that the tent comes with stakes good for grass with bright color pulls. That is much better than those cheap 7 shaped stakes. If camping on hard terrain you'll need to buy the appropriate stakes. Dissesmbly was easy too. It comes with a bag it actually will fit back into nicely. ... show more
