Great little camera. 4 stars though because it really needs image stabilization. But easy to use, good field of view and good image quality. If you just want a "dashcam" for your bike, as I use it, it's great and not expensive. But if you want to make videos you can post on social media, as I wanted to, it is lacking.

I rescue animals, and have often found myself in situations where neighbors are very confrontational and make threats to the stray animals, so I've been wearing a body camera to catch these threats on video to protect both myself and the animals. I've been through four or five other cameras that have either broken or stopped working but this camera so far has been the best one I've purchased I really like the fact that it has a screen so that I can see what the camera is pointing at because sometimes when you wear a body camera, you might think you're catching footage of a person, but you're really catching footage of the trees. With the view screen, I can adjust the cameras position so that I'm getting the footage that I need. I'm happy with the battery life, the quality of the footage and the storage available. It comes with a memory card a clip a tripod and a lanyard. The lanyard has been especially helpful, because one of the major problems I've had with previous cameras is that they fall off while I'm performing activities, and when they hit the concrete they no longer work. I have the lanyard either around my neck or fasten to my jacket to prevent the camera from falling to the ground. It is very low profile and you can shut off all the indicator lights so that nobody realizes that you are filming them, just put it in a jacket pocket with the top of it sticking out and that is all you need to get footage. Another good thing about having a screen to review footage is that if you need to show footage to the police you can do it on the spot without having to give them the SD card and hopefully them having an adapter or putting it into your phone, you can just play it directly on the screen for them. All in all, it's a very good camera for the price. I do recommend getting the coverage for a few dollars extra, just in case you do happen to find a way to break this. I recommend this for anyone who does things solo in locations where they might need another layer of protection, or proof. The tripod is also helpful if you want to get footage inside your home. I only wish it had Wi-Fi.

I picked this up mainly for personal security and to have a way to record interactions when needed. It’s actually smaller than I expected, which makes it easy to clip onto clothing without feeling bulky or drawing too much attention.Setting it up didn’t take long. The controls are fairly simple once you get used to them, and I like that I can start recording quickly without going through menus. That’s important for something like this where timing matters.Video quality is decent for the size. It’s not cinematic, but it’s clear enough to capture faces and conversations, which is what I needed. Audio was surprisingly usable too, even when there was some background noise.Battery life has been okay so far I can get through a few hours of use, but I wouldn’t rely on it for a full day without recharging. Also, storage fills up faster than you might expect if you record in higher qualityOne thing I’d improve is the instructions they could be clearer. I had to figure out a couple of things on my own.

This is a really good body-cam! I've tried a few other body-cams but they are hard to use because they only have a few buttons and you gotta count button presses to change modes and scroll through menus and it's like solving a puzzle to do anything. This one has a dedicated off/on button, a dedicated video on/off button, a dedicated audio on/off button, and a dedicated still/snapshot button. AND it has separate play/pause, forward and rewind buttons on the back so you can view the videos right from the camera without copying the video to your phone or computer. It even comes with the SD card included and a bunch of accessories like a tiny little tripod, wrist band so you can wear it like a Dick Tracy wrist camera, neck strap, and USB cable and a SD card to USB adapter to copy the videos to your computer. Negatives? It's a bit heaver that other body-cams I've bought, but still light enough to stick into your shirt pocket. Yes, this one is expensive, but you get what you pay for. I'm gonna buy another one in a minute just to set up in my house pointing at the front door!

I needed a body camera to document harassment from a neighbor. At first, this camera seemed adequate, if bare-bones. The instructions were terrible, but it was simple enough to figure out how to turn it on and record. I was disappointed to discover that it only records for a maximum of 15 minutes, and it does not stay powered on long enough to get through a 25-30 minute walk with my dog, which means that I needed to fiddle with the tiny and poorly marked buttons to get it up and running again. I never was able to get the neck lanyard cord to thread through the tiny and curved holes in the camera body, despite trying to push/pull the cord through with a variety of implements. That left me having to use the belt clip (which doesn't work with all my clothing). That's when the design flaw other reviews mentioned immediately became apparent. If you install it so the clip is on the back of the camera body, then the person you're recording can see the screen and see that you're recording them, which could escalate an already tense situation. If you turn it around the other way to make recording more subtle, then the belt holder completely blocks the screen and prevents you from accessing menu settings or seeing how the shot is framed. More irritatingly, the belt clip was extremely difficult to remove, requiring needle nose pliers. I finally gave up and ordered a better camera after the battery stopped holding a charge for more than ~10-15 minutes after owning it for only a week. Overall, I bought this for a sense of security, and it ended up taking my attention away from my surroundings to fuss with the camera, and then the battery died suddenly in a situation where I was relying on the camera for documentation.
