I am LOVING this kayak rack. Our kayaks have been sitting on the ground leaning up against our fence for quite a while and are pretty dirty (you can see that in the pictures). It also was difficult to cut grass, weed whack or take care of the yard in general around the kayaks. I put this rack together in about an hour or less. It wasn't difficult to put together but you should read through all the directions before beginning. There are some parts that need to go on at the same time you are putting other parts on. Really the most difficult part was figuring out the best way to slip the padding onto the parts that the kayaks sit on. The first one took some time, but the other three went on pretty easily. I was able to get my kayaks on the racks by myself and I absolutely LOVE the fact that this rack is on wheels and I can easily move it to do yardwork. I also can roll it right up to my truck to load the kayaks. The wheels lock so it doesn't roll when you don't want it to and, if also comes with feet that don't roll if you choose to put it someplace and don't plan to move it. I really do love it!! I believe it is a good value for the money; it is high quality metal; and the functionality is off the charts. I bought the 2-kayak storage set because that's all I have and the fit is adjustable to the length of your kayaks.

Not quite as described. Was not able to assemble this as holes were not properly drilled. Some of the pieces were damaged, almost like someone returned it. We thought this would be perfect to store our 2 kayaks inside when we were not at our second home. The size of the storage unit was perfect and if worked out would have great functionality on wheels to easily move around on the tile floor if needed. Great concept, good item for the cost, but ultimately sent it back for poor quality.

I've got very mixed feelings about this. Overall, the stand is fantastic and does a great job of holding kayaks, paddleboards, or surfboards with no space issues. It's sturdy, durable, and doesn't scoot around when you store items. Putting it together was a little bit of a pain though. The instructions were fine if all the parts had been labeled, which they weren't, so I struggled to know which part went where. All of the parts were covered in grease and felt nasty to touch -- I had as much grease on me and my indoor rug, as a mechanic would at the end of the day. Gross. Some of the parts were also banged up and scratched fresh out of the plastic, so I'm not sure what's going on with that. Functionally, it's great and lightweight and does a good job. Putting together, it's not fun.

The instructions on the were fairly clear if incorrect. In that it tells you to use one of two screws to put together base. Luckily there are only two size screws as the one the instructions say to use are not long enough. Also the padding that goes over the arms that hold the kayak are supposed to be slipped on. They rip as you try to pull them over. I stopped that and decided to just use zip ties to attach them. A lot of the parts have grease on them so be aware. It took about 45 minutes by myself to assemble. And it holds my kayak well enough.

Everything I thought might be an issue was not an issue - I'm over impressed! Easy assembly, my 14 and 16 year olds put this together for me, no help. They said some of the instructions could have used more detail, but they got through them correctly. It's strong, no worries about holding my kayaks and getting bent or deformed from the weight. It's light, two kids can move it easily. It's shorter than I expected, which is good, but very adjustable width. No funny smells - everything looks and feels like good quality. Nice bonus - it comes with both casters and wide, rubberized feet. I'm not sure if I'll keep this in the garage (wheels) or behind the barn (feet).

I have some j-hooks on the wall of my garage that I was using to store our inexpensive recreational kayaks. They work okay, but it wasn't easy to get them off the hooks and out of the garage. This rolling rack is so much better! It's easy to assemble and use and can be adjusted for your yaks. The quality of the materials and construction seem to be pretty good, and I love being able to roll the kayaks right out to my SUV for transport.

These heavy-duty kayak holders are fairly easy to set up, and by storing the kayaks on these racks they do a great job of keeping them organized, safe and secure and help extend the life of my kayaks. Light weight, simple, effective and yet sturdy. They are small enough to put inside or outside without taking up too much space like some of the other racks out there.
