I just installed the seat with M5 well nuts from this set i purchased: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DGQS8BQ4?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_1 I tried many bits but the 7/16th bit made a snug hole for the M5 wellnut. I had to work the bit in a circular fashion a few times to widen the hole but be careful not to overdo it. The wellnut needs to fit snug. I think wellnuts are better than rivots. I really liked comfort. First use I was kayaking back and left side let loose with strap. Update. Seller did a full refund even though I was just over 30 day return. Great customer service. I would buy from seller again with customer service like this.

Although this was a more comfortable seat than the manufacturer's seat, it broke the first time it was used!! This was a gift for my husband's birthday, and he used it after the return time frame, and now we're out the $. I'd look elsewhere for a kayak seat.

Purchased this to replace a non-supportive kayak seat. This has great support and was easy to install. I would highly recommend this to anyone who needs more back support when kayaking or canoeing. Also, easy to clean. I think this is a quality item.

I like how easy this was to get in my kayak. The only negative is that it didn’t come with the accessories to attach it to the boat. Otherwise I had to set up a temporary placement which works fine. Did a four hour kayak trip and it was very comfortable. East to install and uninstall at days end.
